I'm usually not a fan of bibimbap since the ones I've tried were tasteless vegetables slapped on top of rice. Sobak has completely changed my mindset and I fell in love with it the first time I tried this place. The vegetables are perfectly seasoned and I love the purple rice. The house special sauce is sooooooo good - it is a flavor that I've never tried before and a teeny tiny bit of spice. It is only one person working there so there may be a short wait. Korean comfort food! Cute little shop with limited seating, just one guy making all the food. I got the Sobak Bibimbap and it was sooo good. No meat but there was a pork sauce/paste that was incredible. Generous with the portions as well!

Ahhh I love this place. You can taste the quality ingredients and the care. The portions are pretty generous so I can make two lunches out of the bowl and galbitang. The beef in galbitang is so tender and high quality. Wish they'd open a shop in DT BK!
