Was so much fun! Would give 4.5/5 stars if I could! The swing 646 option let's you get an entree, appetizer, and dessert for $55. Drinks are about $14-17. They do charge an automatic %18-19 gratuity, and it's $15 per person to sit near the jazz. This plus a bowl of soup made the bill $150.00 for two of us. It is a bit expensive, but it's so much fun and definitely worth it! The staff are very friendly and engaging. They did a free class when we went on Thursday night. They were happy to take pictures and interact with the customers in a friendly, supportive, and engaging way. The soup + food was great. The music was excellent. And the atmosphere was super enjoyable! 10/10 would recommend for a date night or NY adventure.

Meh. Really small crowd in a large space didn't do much for the ambiance; otherwise, the group I saw that night was pretty good. Horrible food, though. I had tickets to go back the next night but didn't return.

Don't waste your money at Swing 46. GO NEXT DOOR TO DONT TELL MOMA. Swing 46 tries to mandate an 18% tip. Since when do YOU tell me how gd YOUR service is, in advance of any service being delivered??? We were 2 ppl and not only did they charge a 4% CC fee (what's next Swing 46, a Rent Surcharge? Insurance Suurcharge? Cleanibg Fee? Management Fee? ) they tried to FORCE us to pay a tip - for 2 ppl - 18% it was like Mob intimidation. By the way, they explain this as "International travelers dont understand USA tip standards." What??? Like in the other review recently, i took care of my server direcrly. He did a gd job. Mgt and Ownnweship- sketchy. Keep ur hands on ur wallet. They are looking to steal ur cash. This is YOUR WORST NYC TOURIST TRAP RIP OFF. FInd somewhere else. Many more fair and better options in NYC

Unfortunately, one of us had food poisoning after the dinner at this place. Don’t order the salmon. Protect yourself at all cost.In addition, the service wasn’t really up to standard. Overall overpriced and gave us really hard time.
First time was good.Second time was horrible! Besides bullying us to pay 18% tip, which is illegal, and it is up to the customer to rate the service, the manager confused us with other couple they had problem in the past and asked us to leave. We gave the tip to the waiter directly in cash and another waiter thought we were leaving without giving tip and started pushing me out, while I was trying to tell him we left tip in cash. Very horrible and humiliating experience. It is unfortunate because the band and music was very good, the waiter who attended us was super but the management are bullies.

We made a reservation off of the recommendation of someone on the free tours by foot Facebook page. Nowhere did it mention that there is a $20/pp fee to just sit down. The drinks had NO to minimal alcohol for $20/drink. The food is beyond subpar for being in Hell's Kitchen. 2 appetizers and 4 drinks cost $225... no thank you. The music is decent but not worth that cost considering what's available around you.

I will definitely not be going back here, nor would I recommend it to anyone, friend or otherwise. My boyfriend’s steak was terribly prepared, my pasta had something wrong with the sauce where I had to pick out the garnish because it tasted terrible. We ordered the same appetizer and dessert as the table next to us but they got more food than us somehow.As for the Jazz they were talented but it wasn’t what we expected.Overpriced and not a good experience
