As a lifelong New Yorker, I’d heard so many mixed reviews about Sylvia’s, with people saying it had “fallen off.” This was actually my first time going, and I can honestly say those reviews were overhyped and flat-out false.

I took my son, his wife and their 3 children (My wonderful grandchildren) out to eat at Sylvia's last night. The food was great. Nice music, not too loud. Great atmosphere. The people was very kind. The food was delicious.
The side dish portions are small. But very tasty. The bill came to just about what I expected to pay. Not over priced. Thank you for your generosity and friendly hospitality. I will recommend and I will return.
