Food was great but I didn’t appreciate that they hinted us to leave or to order more food
Love to walk into a skinny little restaurant that smells amazing. We weren’t hungry enough to try the entire menu but everything we did eat was, quite frankly, amazing. Huge shout out to the lamb skewers and the patatas bravas. The g&t cocktail was so delicious as well! Would be more than happy to come back and eat the entire menu.
Easily the best restaurant experience I have ever had. The ambience was cosy, the servers were endearing, the food was mind blowingly exceptional, the cocktails on point. I have no notes for improvement. What an absolutely gem. My favourite restaurant in New York. Pure love for this spot.
Nothing on the menu excited me. The salads were good. Love that they serve Alhambra. Small cozy space.
Our waiter Dennis was great. Food is always excellent!
We had some tiny spaghetti and squash entree which was delicious
Excellent!! The closest thing to a Madid neighborhood / “de toda la vida” bar that I’ve found in NYC. I ducked in recently (alone) for an early/small dinner (lomo/pork sandwich, an Alhambra beer, and a Torta de Santiago / almond cake), a few minutes too late for their happy hour menu, and thus, their calamari sandwich (next time). Quality food at a reasonable price, nice décor/cozy atmosphere, great service (I was immediately waited on by one of the owners and then by a couple of the waitstaff), and very clean (restroom included). Perfect place to bring a date or for a small group lunch/dinner (cool back/group room). Bonus points for the small shelf that runs along the wall across from the bar (where I moved to after having started eating at one of the high tables / once the table reservation had been filled), a small detail, but it made me feel like I was back in Madrid. Hats off and a big thank you to the owners, Mani and Heather, for bringing a little bit of Spain, which they clearly know very well, to NYC.
Great food, reasonable prices in Manhattan. However, it was extremely warm inside, almost hard to breathe at some point so we finished the meal quickly to get some air... Also the high chair seats are not the most comfortable. Garlic shrimps and squid ink rice were really nice!

Our experience was quite disappointing. Our waiter was rude from when sat down and unfortunately he soured the experience. The food was quite cold (fried fish in particular felt like it was cooked a while ago).

Great neighborhood spot. Good tapas and affordable and good for NYC. $80-90 pp with a shared bottle of wine.

Really really good. I loved the wine and literally every plate we tried. Highlights were the octopus salad, garbanzos fritos, croquetas, and a special that was just ham and crispy artichoke on bread with goat cheese (my fav). I thought it wasn’t going to be enough food but it turned out to be perfect. We did 8 plates for 4 people and it ended up being super cheap.
