It's an ok restaurant. I followed them on instagram, thought it would be very fancy place for fine Mexican dining. Insta looks more fancy than it is... so don't expect to much and you'll have a nice meal.

This place was wonderful. The service was excellent. The food and drinks were delicious. The restaurant it self was really pretty and the overall atmosphere was just really nice. The portion size of the food was smaller than other places but that only means there was room dessert. Great for special occasions!

It was an amazing experience. Service was great, super friendly staff. Excellent cocktails, ambience, vibe and food was very good. Personally I would prefer less salt otherwise love the guacamole and salsa appetizer. Really enjoyed our table my friend also enjoyed it very much. The bartender was remarkable and we love the bar level as well. I'm already planning on coming back.

We had a wonderful meal at Tan. We loved the bone marrow and pork belly appetizers and the bass main course. The portions were ample and easily shared. Their corn tortillas were homemade, fresh, and tasty. We thought the prices were reasonable for the quality of the food and drinks. The service was friendly, prompt, and professional. Would definitely recommend this restaurant for innovative, unusual Mexican cuisine.

Expensive... very small portions and okay food. The interiors is... cold? The vibe is rich and just not the most welcoming. I will say their drinks were good and they have a cool lounge so if you're looking for "expensive" then this is for you.

Such a cute restaurant that feels like we're in tulum right when we enter. It's easy to make a reservation on open table and we got a seat upstairs in the indoor area. The only thing about the ambiance that threw us off was the smell of incense that got stronger as the night went on - I personally didn't like the smell so I wish it wasn't so prevalent through the night. As for the food, we thought the portions would be small but it was honestly super filling and the flavors were all well balanced! We ordered a guac and salsa for the table, I loved the guac and the green salsa was great, the other two were spicy, and the flatbread chips that came with it were very interesting. I liked the crisp but wish some pieces weren't as burnt. It still went well with everything we had! My friends ordered the tuna tartare and the huarache (one vegan one with chorizo) and they enjoyed it. I split the lobster tacos (very lobster and buttery but a perfect bite size), octopus (the sauce paired really well and the texture was great), seafood enchiladas (our favorite, it was perfect to share and didn't feel too heavy, there was also a great amount of filling to the tortilla) and we had the corn which we really liked! If I were to go back I would definitely get the enchiladas, guac and potentially corn or octopus again! The thing that didn't make the experience as great was the service. The waiters didn't seem to communicate with one another and we had 5 different people come up to us at different points in time checking in. But at the same time, they took our salsas without us being finished and would go periods without coming to help us.

The food and ambiance was okay but they lied to us in terms of telling us the card didn’t go through to be able to milk more tip out of us. It was fine if they requested more tip but they lied saying that groups of 5 or more is instant gratuity - which was a lie! Unfortunate that they had to do this.

The decoration of the place, the attention from the waiters and especially Juanita, the ceviche, the cappuccino coffee and the dessert were the best of the night. The guacamole had a lot of lemon flavor and was veryyyy salty as were the tlayudas veryyy salty (there was no balance of flavors). The Octupos Maya was more or less. The Charcoal Short Rib, which could have been the star dish, was also a disappointment.Salt was the star of the night.

I arrived without a booking and was accommodated with outdoor seating. While the indoor decor is beautiful, the flavors of specific dishes stood out. Every drink and plate we chose was solid, mocktails included! Our selections included the guacamole, a (citrusy) ceviche Tulum, the pork belly, and the short rib al carbon, with the latter being particularly memorable. The service was pretty good, highlighted by the staff's thoughtful gesture of providing milk when a family member swallowed a spicy pepper! Make sure to ask about the spice (if you’re unsure). All in all, this place is a fun choice for a night out.

I was very excited to visit because of all the hype on social media. The place was beautiful but way small then we expected. Tik Toks always have the best angels to make things look larger. I personally felt a little cramped. The service was decent and our waiter was very attention! The food was okay! It was smaller portions then expected for the tacos, and i personally did not like the texture of the tortilla. However, the BONE MARROW.... YES... star of the show! It was perfect. I would return solely for the bone marrow.

The restaurant is gorgeous! It really does transport you to another place--think upscale bohemian tropics. The vibe is sexy and classy. The service is excellent--staff was attentive, warm, and informative. The cocktails were well made and the presentation was cool. The food was also good. The food portions are very small.

It was a beautiful place to eat, wonderful service, the flavors were delicious just the portion size is very small- eat a snack before! We loved all the food just need larger portions- the chips and salsa were meant for 1!

Overall, it was a lovely experience. We did request a table that was quieter and more private but did not initially receive that, especially being an early reservation. After asking for another table, we were offered to choose any seat we wanted in the lounge which was perfect. I actually preferred the lounge; it is more idea for a date as it is more romantic and the decor is alluring. The upstairs restaurant is lovely also and brighter but the seating is less sexy unless you're in a banquet styled booth. The food was nice, not thrilling but the presentation of dishes made up for what may have lacked in flavor. The guacamole was better than most, with actual present acidity! The cocktail I selected was a little imbalanced for me but the mocktails we enjoyed were delicious! But the ELOTE was sooooo good I had to take home what I couldn't finish and it was even better the next day.
