Cool place with so many cream cheese spreads to choose from. It’s like an ice cream shop for bagels

Can bagels get any better than this? Only if your loving parent made them.

They’re so fast and so fresh here. The options are endless, the coffee’s great, and the whole place hums with that perfect New York rhythm. You can smell the eggs cooking, hear the chatter, and feel how efficient and attentive everyone is; it’s the heartbeat of the city in breakfast form.

Judging by other reviews, maybe this place has the occasional mood or efficiency bump like that same loving parent who moves a little too fast or hits a moment of burnout. We happened to catch it on a good day, and the vibes were fantastic. I’m positive that if anything ever were off, they’d be quick to make it right.

You’re here reading this review, but in that same amount of time, Tal Bagels could’ve already handed you a freshly toasted bagel loaded with toppings and a hot cup of coffee.

Go. Now. Eat.

Burnt bagel and quality is Not fresh. Over priced for a plain bagel. Over $7. NYC has the best bagels. This is not the best.

Incredibly overpriced, especially considering the quality compared to other New York bagels,90% of which are as good or better.

The Tal Bagle is the specialty of the house, quite expensive (>20$) but fresh and tasty.

$8.50 for a below average and pretty much stale bagel with scallion cream cheese is crazy even on the upper west side. Place is dark and outdated

Pay special attention to your takeout order. They can get your order wrong, and you don't realize it until you get to your destination.

$25 for a smoked salmon bagel. Prices are not listed for the “tal special” . Maybe it’s my fault I was too embarrassed to say no after they made my sandwich and rang it up for $25. The amount of salmon in this sandwich is abysmal. It’s two thin slices across the bagel. Genuinely ruined my day, but then again maybe it is my fault for not saying no after r they made it because I didn’t want to seem poor and such. It tastes ok at least!

The sesame on my bagel were moldy. When I informed them they didn’t seem concerned.

Great bagels! Still soft after 4 days. Key is to keep them in the brown paper bag and the put them in a plastic bag.
