You will honestly be paying for the aesthetics and vibe of this restaurant. Food was very much mid. For example, I ordered the filet mignon (cooked medium) which was sixty bucks and it genuinely reminded me of a salisbury steak tv dinner: disgusting and cheap-tasting. I also ordered the edamame and spring rolls which were good, but I’ve had the same elsewhere for half the cost. Aside from the food quality, the service was great and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. I was there for a special occasion. This place is fine if you wanna splurge and have a little night out, but if you want good food as well as a bang for your buck go somewhere else.Parking: I found parking but wound up with a ticket. In Jersey, “No Parking” means you can’t park there. Apparently in NY, “No Standing” means you can’t park there ??‍♀️. Since when do cars stand? That being said, you need the luck of the Irish to find parking that doesn’t cost the same as a full tank of gas. Good luck!

Dined in with two good friends of mine here and had an excellent experience! The Asian fusion style of food here is my favorite! You get a taste of all the best foods and you can’t go wrong with any of the food here at Tao! Had a great experience.

Just wasn't the service expected at this place, they rushed you to order. Server came to the table maybe 3 times total and the food didn't even taste that great. The ambiance is the best part but other than that, this place is pretty mediocre.

The food is absolutely stunning - especially the bamboo vegetable dimplings. However, the hosts on the reception desk are incredibly rude and aloof. This really didn't set the meal up for a welcoming beginning. We also waited 40 minutes for our table even though we had pre-booked and paid a deposit.

Great ambience and food concept which reminds me of Buddha Bar in Paris 25 years ago, just more updated and exclusive. The food is very high quality with excellent taste combinations and ingredients. The restaurant, with it's concept design, ambience music and Asian food, produces a complete dining experience.

This place it’s really cool.. I was in love with the atmosphere, so Asian and the low light so charming. We tried different apps and plates. You would love Hong Kong noodle plate, the portion is very generous and the flavors are perfectly mix together. The sand snapper is stunning with a good spicy flavor.A lot of different mixtures for the cocktails but without a doubt TAO-TINI my favorite a mix between coconut, raspberry and vodka I have no words.A totally lovely experience here, I loved it.

I took my good friend out for her birthday. We were more impressed with the decor of the restaurant than with the food. It was good, not great. The appetizers were more appealing than the entrees and all the food was luke warm. Although very tender and tasty, $26.00 for ONE short rib appetizer is way overpriced. The Lobster wontons are recommended. The Lobster fried rice was dry and tasteless. The Branzino was a bit oily and the Thai sweet and spicy shrimp had more batter than shrimp. It seems as though you're paying more for the name than the overall value and quality of the food. It was a nice experience; not sure I'd return.

Food was fairly good, the noise level was shockingly high. Service was disappointing, we ordered wine, there was a problem with the cork, so we ended up getting it in a carafe, but I advised the waitress that this should have been done at our table.
