Don't understand all the great reviews, but guessing the reviewers have never been to Mexico, nor even a good taqueria in an authentic Mexican neighborhood like Sunset Park in Brooklyn.
Despite the complaints like pizza, even mediocre versions are still enjoyable...

The menu was taken away from me within minutes of looking at it. I was forced to order the first thing I saw because, as soon as I started looking, someone walked straight up to me and said, ‘You ready?’ They took the menu away before I even had a chance to order a drink. I had to eat my food with nothing to drink, and all they offered me was tap water. I told them I didn’t want the tap water, but the guy still brought it. All of this was a clear sign they were trying to hurry me out of the establishment

Tacos, Margaritas, and Vibes — Perfect Spot in NYC!
We spent 12 days exploring NYC and loved Taqueria St. Marks Place so much that we ended up dining there twice! This place has everything you want for a fun night out: The staff is super efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic — great music, lively decor, and an upbeat vibe that makes you want to stay longer. The margaritas are amazing (and budget-friendly!) — seriously, don't miss out on them. The food is perfect for sharing! Great flavors, ideal if you want to try a bit of everything for dinner or a late-night bite. Plus, it's just a short walk from the Greenwich Village nightlife scene, making it a great place to start (or end) your evening.
We highly recommend this spot — a great combo of good food, drinks, and energy. Can’t wait to go back!

We devoured this flan, it was delicious! I ordered an egg and sausage burrito and it was so much food for such a reasonable price. They play fabulous 80s hits and the inside of the restaurant is filled with cute decor and is candlelit at night.
