Been to this location often. Not sure if they had an off day or have a new untrained staff. Ordered the smoked salmon teatime and it was disgusting. Cooking staff was sloppy and busy playing with each other not focusing on food prep. While I was waiting for my sandwich I witnessed two people come back to the store to have their food order corrected after they had already walked off and sat down somewhere to eat.

I stopped by Tartinery Cafe for lunch with friends and got the Lunch Combo ($15.50+), which includes a choice of soup and petite sandwich.
I’d wanted the Chestnut and Mushroom Soup, but they only had Butternut Squash. For my sandwich, I chose the Smashed Avocado with Egg (additional $2.50+). I’d asked for it without cilantro, but they were putting it on as they were preparing it, so I had to ask them to remove it, again.
The soup was a bit bland, but the Smashed Avocado was good.
For $20, this wouldn’t be my first choice for lunch, but could be good if you’re looking for a small lunch.

Tasty and healthy food, friendly staff and comfortable seating. Only the tea bags are made of plastic, otherwise I would have given 5 stars!

This is one of the slowest food business i’ve ever been to, they are very short staffed and one guy tries to make up for everything, it’s not his fault, owners are chip, i waited 20 minutes for one juice!!!! and it wasn’t even busy. I would never go back there
