I read the bad reviews and despite my best judgement wanted to try this Tasti D-Lite for myself...bad idea. This place is unsanitary. Everything is self-serve including toppings that are in dirty containers. The toppings are stale. The gummy bears are rock solid. The M&Ms are inedible. Everything my group tried tasted like it was years old. If you're craving frozen yogurt on the UES, you're better off paying for the delivery fee and getting Pinkberry.

I've tried the mango sorvete with PB m'ms and oreos and it was amazing. Staff treated me really well and showed me how the sorbet machine worked! Absolutely loved it!

Not everyone likes Tasti-D-Lite. But those who love it, will be very happy to find one of the few stores left in Manhattan. Excellent Tasti. Almost always have either peanut butter or Snickers which are very popular flavors, chocolate and vanilla and then usually something fruit flavored. I find the staff very helpful and friendly.This isn't ice cream. Those expecting it to be with be disappointed. But for those who recognize and enjoy Tasti, they will be glad to find this location.

BIG RIP OFF… GO ELSEWHERE! When I arrived the man behind the counter was fully engaged in a phone conversation and was annoyed when I asked to sample two flavors. I helped myself and he eventually came over when I couldn’t find a sooon for toppings. Again annoyed. But the worst part was when it was time to pay. He weighed the two not even half full cups and didn’t give me time to see the price he keyed in. I saw $14 flash on the screen and then $17. I thought how did this get to the price. I was with my 2 year old granddaughter. I had the receipt texted. When I checked it out… he added a $3.57 tip. WHAT?!!! For horrific service and he somehow ripped me off by trickily touching the screen.
