Absolutely amazing! From the service to the food to the best eggplant dish I’ve ever had… can’t say enough of how knowledgeable, attentive and helpful the staff was. Everything was absolutely delicious… can’t even name a favorite… pro tip, get dessert!

From the UK- out for a Birthday meal 5* across the board. Called in yesterday without a reservation and we were made very welcome- we sat at the bar and we were very happy with that. Amazing friendly staff and excellent atmosphere. The garlic bread starter was to die for- the chianti was amazing too. Every course we had was 5*. Highly recommend

One of the best meals I have had in the city. The service was incredible, multiple interactions with the owner on a busy Saturday night. Food was unbelievable. The lamb is a must, but everything was excellent. Wouldn’t have changed a thing.Kid-friendliness: Owner and all staff were super attentive to our 8 month old. He even put her sock back on for her!

This place is one of my favorite restaurants. The owner Maurizio and his wife Andrea are sweethearts. The food feeds the soul and never disappoints. Lamb shank and beet salad is my favorite. As long as this restaurant is open I will keep on coming back.

This place is just a dreamy spot with a cool vibe, cozy feel, amazing food and honest prices. I used to travel to NYC quite frequently and stayed nearby - - wandered in one trip to give it a shot and it became a staple of every trip. Super friendly staff. Can't wait to visit again and happy to see they survive the covid years!

By far the worst Italian food I ever had. They charged for bread, it was stale and hard as a rock. Calamari was listed as fresh, definitely frozen and imitation. Eggplant had no taste. Service was great. If you want good Italian food - goto Montes on Macdougal street.

Wow this place truly surprised us! We made a last minute dinner reservation here to catch up with some old friends and it did not disappoint. We called the restaurant earlier in the night to see if we could push back our reservation an hour and they were so accommodating even on a busy Saturday night. The drinks were well made and the wine list had great Italian selections. The pasta….to die for! It is so authentic and perfectly al dente like you were in Italy. The ingredients in each dish we got (burrata, cacio e Pepe, carbonara, and chicken Parmesan) tasted so fresh and the portion sizes were perfect. They had great gluten free options as well. We ended up spending over 3 hours here and we were not rushed during our meal at all, which is sometimes super hard to find in NYC. Highly recommend this place, I can’t wait to go back.Dietary restrictions: All pasta can be made gluten free.

One of my new favorite Italian spots in all of Manhattan, a real gem of LES! Cozy and romantic, the atmosphere is just what I was looking for in a date night with my husband. My husband had the pappardelle and I had the cacio e Pepe, both were full of flavor and cooked to perfection, seemingly straight from Italy and not an American take on the cuisine (my husband and I made it to Italy twice this year so we have what to compare it to). Finished off with the tiramisu, perfection. It takes a lot for us to return to a place in the city as we live in Williamsburg and, well, Williamsburg isn’t lacking its own great restaurants. But Taverna Di Bacco stole our hearts this evening, so we will definitely be back.
