Good food, great staff

Love this place. The only thing is, it's very inconsistent. Open, close, taking orders, not taking orders. Why bother after awhile.

Great food, small sitting area, street view.. good place for a quick bite to eat

Oh yeah. This is not health food. Mac and cheese spring rolls: that's carb-on-carb AND deep fried cheese.

The food was pretty standard, but the guy taking orders and cooking could not have been less friendly. He literally never made eye contact with me (unless you count my boobs as my eyes ). Also he took my credit card with his dirty glove, and halfway through cooking, came out to pick up his cell phone and take a call (again with his gloved hand). Pretty gross. I don't really care that much about service workers smiling or pretending like they're having the best day of their life, but you can at least say "hi" and "thank you." Also the kimchi was weaksauce, no strong fermented flavor

Not good. Tried 3 things here: 1. Pancake with curry dip: just okay. Dripping with oil and the curry sauce was oily too. Not much flavor. 2. French fries: these were not bad, but I ordered them with nacho cheese sauce and they came with some added white cream sauce on top that I wasn't a fan of. Would it kill you to list what toppings you're using? 3. The spring roll mac and cheese was the worst. Super oily to the point where all I can taste is oil and grease. The mac and cheese flavor wasn't even there. So yea, this was one of the unhealthiest meals I've ever had and it was definitely not worth it. Stay away.

Really wanted to like this place, scallion curry pancake was just a super thin, plain, and small scallion pancake with a side of curry sauce. Fried chicken bao was dry and needed a lot of sauce. Mac and Cheese egg rolls were inedible for me, and had a weirdly sour taste. Tofu Bao was flavorless and dry, and again needed a lot of sauce.

This was first time having bao, I got their lunch special which was 2 bao buns and some fries. I got the o.g which is a pork bao bun and the colonel which is their fried chicken bao bun. Both were delicious, the fried chicken one was my favorite of the two. The fries were also very good. The bao are small, and the portion of fries was also small. I was still hungry after eating here even though I'd usually be fully after eating two sliders, which I feel like are comparable in size.

The rice bowl is 90% rice and 10% everything else. I enjoyed their philly cheesesteak roll last year but it seems that the quality has gone down by quite a bit.

Had a last minute craving for a pork belly bao so this place definitely came in handy! The bao shoppe is open until 10 pm so it was a nice little dessert for me after my dinner. The store was very empty and quiet since it was late at night but it still took a while for the food to be ready. The meat was a little small but extremely tender and flavor was good. I didn't really care for the pickled veggies on top, very viet style. Overall, price was decent and it helped to satisfy my cravings.

I was in the mood for good food so I thought bao. It was a rainy day so I decided to order in. The Baogogi is a play on Korean bbq styled beef and holy moly it's GOOD. The kimchi gives it spice and the meat was perfectly cooked. Bao is a perfect bed for meats, sweet and fluffy.

Great little take out place with about 6 or 8 stools to eat in also. Some recipes are interesting hybrids and the basics are tasty. I was inspired to write a review because the Mac&cheese egg roll was so great! Crispy outside With Macncheese inside really worked. I also had fries which were perfect and a Hawaiian tea which was refreshing. Def recomend this place.

The baos and food in general here were delicious! However I think they were a little pricey for the portion size but definitely worth the try. I would recommend this place to others to try at least once especially if you have a craving for baos.
