My stay and Dream Beach Hostel was absolutely lovely. I initially booked for 3 days and ended up staying there for over a week. The facilities are clean, the bunk bed’s are comfortable and new, the room is air conditioned and great in the heat. The pool is clean and as nice as it appears in photos.
The staff Joe and Putu were incredibly helpful, Joe showed me how to ride a scooter so I could access the town more easily, and it was something I wanted to learn in my time in Bali since it’s pretty essential for traveling in Asia.
Both took the time to answer any questions I had on traveling around the area and things to do on the island. It was great to come back every evening and find the guys and other travelers sitting in the common area playing guitar, singing and spending time together.
Panda, the owner, was often there and his attention to detail, welcoming spirit and extensive experience in hospitality were noticeable.
The hostel is in a quieter part of the island just a ten minute scooter ride to the town center. It’s close to Dream Beach and Coconut Beach, Mushroom Bay, and is close to the bridge to get to Ceningan. Coconut Beach offers surf lessons and board rentals and cute cafes and warungs. Mushroom Bay has stores cafes and restaurants, and is a slower pace than Jungutbatu Beach, it’s perfect for traveler’s looking to get away from the crowds of Bali. Cenginan’s restaurants looking out on the shared bay are also a great way to spend the afternoon and watch the sunset at.
Overall I had such a great experience here and I hope you do too!
Thanks again Panda, Joe, and Putu!!

I will give 2 stars only because our waitress was nice and bring all food and drinks quick. I got there at 11:30am we got the chairs and the sun was for about 2h max then is no sun. WATER IS COLD! Music is good. I do not recommend this pool if you want to have a good and relaxed day

Our server, Peyton, was very attentive. A bus boy was also attentive to fill our water glasses and remove used dishes.

I like this place so let's look to you every now and then take a break from the busy city and enjoy by the pool, see some interesting people. It's everybody or have a drink. It can be busy at times but of all the times i've been here, it's pretty reasonable and the pool is pretty cold. But for a hot summer day, this is actually refreshing, and so far I tried the tacos which was good

A great place to sunbathe and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city!

We got a day pass to enjoy the pool and it was an absolute waste of our time and money. We ordered drinks that never came out— we reordered after complaining and finally got them. We then ordered fish tacos which again never came out. We were there for over 2 1/2 hours and left thirsty and hungry. After finally calling over the manager she apologized and took care of our drinks, (2 total because no one ever took our order again), but we are still out $200 for the day. Save your money for a spot in the city where you don’t have to beg for a cocktail.

Cocktails and service were great.

Got a day pass and spent a Wednesday afternoon at the pool. It was a better deal than most spots in town and a good vibe. Special shoutout to Amit who was super accommodating! Would recommend.

If you looking for a hotel that smells like weed and doesn't have reliable hot water... look no further! My entire experience here was terrible. No towels, no housekeeping, not even a welcome at check in. I'll be staying somewhere else for sure

The pool was murky and freezing cold so no one was even in it. Only 1 side of the pool gets sun so the rest of us had shade the entire day which defeated the purpose of going in the first place. Drinks were astronomically priced, even for NYC. And they blasted weird elevator beat music the entire day. Not a known song to be found.

Still don’t understand for what I payed $160. Very small area, nothing included in the price, except the tap water. Old worn out towels, very pathetic overpriced menu. 3 starts only for the people working here: really nice and helpful. The owners should work on making this place desirable to stay and enjoy every minute esp for the price you ask. Work on your menu, playlist and organize the crowd, it should not be that packed. Oh and be ready that some random people will have sex in the bathroom.

Arrived on my birthday and waitress and wait staff were very rude. Barely acknowledged me. They all need customer service 101 training .

We were down in NYC for a medical conference and had a great experience at the Hotel and the Pool area. Drinks were on point, and the vibe was chilled out. The staff was friendly, especially Amit, Destiny and Gabriella. I would recommend booking a seat close to the pool the day prior to going up. The only reason I did not give a five star was because the manager was not welcoming and I'm really not sure why he is working at that location.

My waiter and waitress failed to introduce themselves and handed me my menu with a big yawn and then left. They were very attentive to the only other table there, instead of my friends and I. Also you guys should place the steak tacos under appetizers because that's what they were. Save your money and go somewhere else!
