I went there to celebrate my birthday. The restaurant atmosphere is good, good for taking pictures. The service of the staff is good, but it can be a bit chaotic, making it difficult to take pictures.

High Tea: little pastries and sweet bocadillos not great; sandwiches good.

I visited your café on June 10 and, on my way to the restroom, I found a bracelet on the floor. It appeared to be very valuable—gold with what looked like diamonds, and quite heavy.

At 14:40 that same day, I handed the bracelet to the young woman at the reception. Later, I saw a similar item for sale downstairs priced at $49,000 USD, which suggests it may be extremely valuable. I sincerely hope the receptionist handled it responsibly and did not keep it for herself, given the amount of money involved.

You can verify this by reviewing your security camera footage for that date and time—I’m confident it will show me handing over the bracelet. I have also attached a video that shows what the bracelet looked like, in case it helps identify the rightful owner.

I sent you the mail about it today on June 13.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s but actually we all chose to have the Afternoon Tea (for breakfast) which was delicious and very close to the British standard of tea us Brits are used to having here in London.

We went to the Blue Box Cafe in January 2025 and really enjoyed it. If you’re thinking of the Plaza or Tiffany’s, I personally preferred the food and service of Tiffany’s but I’ll be reviewing The Plaza too so check that out for comparison.

The staff were really friendly and super attentive. They took the time to speak to us and talk about our trip and where we were from etc which seems small and simple but was a nice touch.

The drinks menu was broad and I loved that they had novel cocktails unique to Tiffany’s and also classics for you to enjoy. It goes without saying that the tea menu was big too and had something for everyone. Even though it was no longer Christmas, I had the seasonal Bellocq Christmas tea and loved all of the spice and warmth.

We all ordered the Afternoon Tea because the menu looked so good but honestly I saw lots of other tables order breakfast and it made me a bit jealous - even though the Tea was exceptional.

Particular stand outs for me were the lobster roll, the smoked salmon bagel and the blood orange pastry which was really zingy and refreshing. The cream for the scones was much better than the Plaza and way more traditional tasting.

It’s great that you can have your meal and before or after fit in a bit of shopping in the store as well. Especially if the weather isn’t great which at the end of January it wasn’t!

There was only one toilet on the same floor as the restaurant so there was a bit of a queue to use it BUT it is probably the fanciest toilet I’ve ever been in. Check out my photos.

The only thing I would say atmosphere wise is that it’s such a tourist attraction that it lacks the same ambience and character of say the Plaza and we didn’t have as much time to sit and enjoy our table because there were other bookings after us on the Sunday. Perhaps if we had booked mid week it would have felt more relaxed. But it was fancy but in a friendly way and the tables are close enough together that you can speak to your neighbours but it doesn’t feel crowded or too close.

My friends and I had dinner here last weekend and the staff were so hospitable and so sweet! We initially booked 2 tables to sit 10 ladies, but they ended up offering us a full sized dining table to fit us all in! Delicious food and such a fantastic Tiffany blue themed cosmos!! Can't wait to be back for high tea or Breakfast!

Food was good, Service was great, Atmosphere was fun. Part of it is saying you got to have "Breakfast at Tiffanys". The breakfast is quite pricey for a few pastries and an egg with caviar.

Prices are quite high considering the quality of the food.
It's a good experience, but I won't be repeating it.

The long-awaited “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”?
Located on the 6th floor of Tiffany Landmark.

Reservations are accepted through an app called "Resy," and reservations can be made from midnight American time 30 days in advance.
Reservations fill up quickly starting in the morning, so be sure to calculate the time difference and make your reservation as soon as the time changes!

There are three main menu items based on the movie: ``Holly's Favorites,'' ``Breakfast at Tiffany's,'' and ``Afternoon Tea.''
I ordered all three over multiple days, but the portions may be surprisingly large for Japanese people.

There are many Tiffany boxes hanging from the ceiling inside the store, literally a blue box?

The staff provided first-class customer service, and the quality was as expected from a Tiffany main store ☺️

There was an Audrey Hepburn exhibition space on the 5th floor, but I wish they would have shown that famous scene in the cafe too?

This is an irresistible place for Audrey fans, including the Tiffany Landmark??

Such a tourist trap. I booked it for my mom since she's a huge fan of the movie. After we arrived, we didn't get a menu for 10 min and we had to ask for it. The staff structure was so confusing, we didn't know who our assigned waited was and ended up having to wave someone down for just about everything from putting the order in, missing food, or getting the check. And the cherry on the top is the automatic 20% tip. With the service I received, I would consider 15% to be overly generous. Don't come here for the fame, it's not worth it.

We accidentally mixed up what day our reservation was on and Mary, the manager on duty, was so so generous and managed to give us a wonderful experience on Thursday night. Our servers Syed and Yasar (as well as the whole team) took great care of us and even surprised us with a beautiful dessert platter. Was definitely a highlight of our NYC visit and can't say thank you enough!

The Blue Box Café by Daniel Boulud is an absolutely stunning place and an experience I’d recommend to anyone looking for something truly special. The ambiance is breathtaking, with signature Tiffany blue accents that create a chic yet cozy vibe. Just being there feels luxurious! It’s essential to reserve a table about a month in advance since the space is quite intimate, but trust me, it’s well worth the wait. Just do it—you’ll thank yourself later.

I opted for the Tea at Tiffany’s service, and from start to finish, everything was incredible. The tea sandwiches were beautifully crafted, each with its unique flavor profile and presentation. The cucumber, dill, and cream cheese was light and refreshing, while the quail egg toast and lobster roll brought a deliciously rich and satisfying touch. The smoked salmon “bagel” was a nod to a classic but elevated in a way only a place like this could achieve. The chicken curry and mango chutney had the perfect hint of sweetness, and the corned beef with mustard and pickles was simply divine—every bite was a new delight.

The scones were perfect, traditional and warm, served with jam and double cream. They brought such a sense of classic afternoon tea, and I felt like I was right in the heart of old-world luxury. Then came the pastries and cookies, each one a masterpiece on its own. My favorites were the sour apple and peanut rocher—the flavors were rich but balanced, sweet but not overwhelming. The canelé, madeleine, and coconut rocher cookies were delightful too, a perfect little finish.

To accompany the tea service, I selected a tea from Bellocq, and it was so good that I asked the maître d’ if I could purchase some to take home. Although they couldn’t sell it, he generously brought me a small amount to enjoy later—a perfect example of the exceptional service here. I also had the signature Blue Tiffany’s Martini, which was as delicious as it was beautiful. Smooth, balanced, and with a touch of elegance, this drink alone is worth the visit!

Overall, I give the Blue Box Café a 10/10. Every detail, from the food to the drinks and the remarkable service, made this an unforgettable experience. Run—don’t walk—to this gem of a café!

18OCT.2024 This was the most exquisite and memorable experience for my post birthday celebrations. My friend who resides in NYC took me here and we were blessed to get reservations so fast. She celebrated her birthday years ago here. She knows how difficult it is to get a reservation here.

This gorgeous Robin egg-blue decorated room with beautiful views of Central Park was the best time ever. From the gorgeous, nicely chilled blue cosmo’s to the delicious sunflower seed encrusted bread. Our food, drinks, & desserts were served by Yasar with such elegance and welcoming professionalism. He made my post birthday celebrations and experience to remember forever. Thank you so much Yasar! You represented Blue Box Café very professional and respectfully.

It was shockingly bad. How much sugar you suppose to consume in one time. It wasn't tasty and definitely diabet provoking. I thought it would be fruity, light. No, it was heavy, and not too fresh. Definitely no gluten free options. This is so outdated.
