The atmosphere here is one of a kind! Reminiscent of a time long gone. The drinks are amazing and the cigar options are plenty.

The Carnegie Club is the epitome of old-school New York cool. Sitting at the bar, in Carnegie Hall, puffing on cigars, sipping port—it's like stepping into a Rat Pack movie. Sincere thanks to the bartender for hooking me up with a gentle cigar that has only left me with the best memories the day after. The vibe inside is just luxe. Such a cool night.

Still a comfortable "old school" feel. A nice selection of cigars. Staff is friendly but not very attentive. Indeed, service tends to be downright slow. The cleanliness of glassware could be improved. I had three empty drink glasses stack up. A server eventually brought another round of drinks when waived down and asked, but didn't take away the used glassware. Apparently, the staff was having challenges with a new computer system that was implemented without training. But, it's difficult to explain why that would impact the removal of the empty glasses. And, under the new system the server hands over a card reader for payment but it doesn't show the breakdown of the bill; just the total and a request for a tip The cocktails, however, were very good.

1st time here at the CARNEGIE CLUB, and wow, we were not disappointed. You can bring your own cigars, whaaaaaaaaat?!! What other place allows you to do that. You can also purchase cigars if you'd like, so cigarette smoking is also allowed in here. I noticed that after the music stops, a lot of people leave. Definitely check it out!

TLDR liked the unique experience and atmosphere but had some gripesWent for Sinatra Saturdays. The 8:00pm show doesn’t feature popular songs like New York New York or My Way, which are instead hinted to be part of the 10:30pm show, for which an additional charge applies, which felt a bit like an upsell. We had good seats above the bar but couldn’t actually see the band hidden at the front of the location, nor properly hear some of the introductory anecdotes.Lastly on the website it states that the tobacco fee is waived on Saturdays, but you can still expect a very smoky atmosphere.

The service was really slow but the performance, the cigar and the drinks were really good. We opted to get our receipt as a text but never received so we don't know how we ended up with the amount of the bill we received. We thought the cover charge was $40 pp (and we were two) including a cigar and a drink but ended up paying around $200. We did enjoy the night a lot but the service and unexplainable bill was not pleasant at all.

Upscale Cigar lounge. Cigar Menu and Drinks Menu. You don’t have the choice to choose like when you are in a humidor. This is a cigar menu and all the options are pricey. Choose your cigar carefully because if not you are going to end up with a cigar you don’t enjoy as

It’s always an amazing time. Steven Maglio show is incredible. Jose the security guard is very nice and so is Aaron the Manager. They accommodated us even though they were packed.

Great cigar and drink selection! The atmosphere was nice and classy, kinda old school and I loved it a lot. Chica was the bartender that day and she was super friendly and awesome. Her recommendation of cigar is definitely great and needless to say, I ordered two pours of their top shelf Japanese whiskey, Yamazaki & Hakushu. Both whiskeys go really well with the cigar that Chica recommended. I'll definitely be back to give their jazz night a try next time! What an awesome experience!

I've never had such a terrible experience. The waitstaff was rushing everyone, yelling that if we did not make our assigned time within 10 minutes they would give our table away. the security guard yelled at me not to walk in front of the stage. the waitstaff didn't even have cigar cutters. they were massively understaffed so wait times were super long. then on top of that they tried to kick us out of our table almost immediately after the set finished. I could not believe how terrible the service was. I used to be a regular when I lived in NYC but I will never come back here again and urge all other guests to stay away. 0 stars

This place is seriously one of my favorite places I've visited in NYC as someone who has been here 8-9 times. First, we tried getting a reservation for about a month and decided to test our luck by showing up and seeing if anyone was a no show. Luckily for us, a guy was giving up his spot right before the Sinatra Saturday show started. The show was absolutely amazing and we stayed for the second one. Our bartender, I think his name was Joy/Troy?, was FANTASTIC. Incredibly nice and quick to serve everybody's drinks. Couldn't have asked for better. My only complaint is that the announcer specifically said to keep conversations to a minimum during the show and people continued to talk loudly throughout. At one point it was hard to hear the performer during one of my favorite songs. I understand you can't really tell people to not talk at all, but conversations should have been hushed versus yelling because of intoxication. Other than that, it was a great experience!
