Rude, not worth the price. Pushy security in front. No organization. 100 better bars (Holiday and otherwise) in the city.

It is promoted on the website that there is also access to the bar for external guests.
We were looking forward to great food and a glass or two of champagne and basically traveled all over the city in a taxi.
Unfortunately we were happy too early, at the entrance to the hotel we were turned away very unfriendly, with the reason: “Just for Guest”
Unfortunately that's not how service works. We then went to the Blue Box Café at Tiffany's and it was fantastic.
After this experience we wouldn't even stay at the Plaza again.
Unfriendly, condescending, simply a no go….

Went in and sat at the bar for a wonderful glass of champagne to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Peter the bartender was pleasant, informative, and just such a pleasure. Servers continued to bring orders to the bar and Peter was attentive to them despite one of them, Sahid, being condescending and disrespectful to him. Upon asking Sahid a simple question myself, he was also disrespectful to me. Thank goodness we had Peter and not Sahid!! The Christmas decorations made the atmosphere just lovely!

exactly what you would expect! an afternoon pit stop for a delicious glass of champagne. for walk ins you can only (usually) sit at the bar, which is lovely however there are only 5 seats available, so pick your time wisely as otherwise you won’t be able to get a seat! i would recommend a booking but i would say sitting at the bar is much better than a table…

A very bad experience in this restaurant, which cost us very much. $1,200 bill, a glass of champagne at $120 a glass. We bought 3 drinks without them offering us their special of 3 drinks for $180.
We paid a 20% tip without knowing it was already included in the bill. We went back to explain to them and ask for a refund of our overpaid tip, telling them to keep only the tip already included in the bill. A week later, they refunded us their included tip, but kept the tip we paid extra, making a difference of $65. We tried to contact them to report the error and request a refund of the difference, but they never responded. It’s…theft.

Great atmosphere and menu selection. I ate here twice and the food was average (heirloom tomatoes unimpressive - but the burrata was good, eggs were rubbery but the rye bread was excellent) and while there was plenty of service they seemed to cater only to a few guests.

Shamefully poor service. Our primary server, an older gentleman, was inattentive and aloof. Plenty of other servers and employees in the vicinity but it takes forever for someone to take our order, then long after we’re finished eating, no one comes to ask if we want dessert or give us the check. Food was only ok; both dishes served to my fiancé and me were cold. I wouldn’t come here again.

Falls so far short of expectations. Can't order coffees? Staff rude and disinterested. Club sandwich was stale. Couldn't even get ketchup out of the terrible bottles. Who runs this place...??
