Awesome coffee shop in Hamilton Heights. The coffee (counter culture?) is great, the staff is nice, the vibe inside is very cute and they have a patio! There is also ample seating (a rarity in Manhattan) for people that want to do work/be on their laptop!

So cute and whimsy! Great quality coffee and really friendly staff. Pretty spacious inside with plenty of tables/counter space. Also has a beautiful back patio that's dog friendly :)

Twice now this same thing has happened: I've had this same cashier make me wait because she was busy, that would be understandable but she's seen me waiting in line too but just kept chatting with the customer she's with as if I weren't there. She's also dropped everything to help the next person after me. Maybe it's a coincidence that those next people happened to be white people. Maybe it's personal but I don't know this person and she doesn't know me expect what ethnicity I might or might not be and anything she may perceive or imagine from my outward appearance. Once more and it's a pattern. This is an otherwise beautiful little place, it has a nice patio and the other cashiers are nice to everyone. I'm sitting right in front of her (literally there's a table in front of the register) and she knows that I wanted something but doesn't even look over to acknowledge me which she would have to do if she looked up or went to the register. She has had enough time by now to check out her phone and chat with co workers. And of course she's gone back to the register when more customers come in. Yes, they are white. I just wanted a coffee on a Saturday afternoon. Going to Semicolon further up or Five Flies.

Coffee is top notch here. High quality . Such a beautiful and cozy little spot with a lovely outdoor patio. Went there with my daughter and the vibe was great for meeting friends, conversation or having a cup of coffee while studying or working. The avocado toast was amazing , especially with the briny feta.
When a business works against themselves and a large part of their clientele, I'm hesitant to trust them to make my coffee. I'm not typically a fearful type, but once you align with someone who cannot say they condemn terrorism...I'll get my coffee elsewhere.

We stopped by The Chipped Cup for breakfast and really enjoyed it. The breakfast sandwich was tasty with perfectly cooked eggs, and the avocado toast was fresh with just the right amount of seasoning. The bagels were chewy and satisfying, and the overnight oats made for a light, healthy option.
Coffee was solid, the mocha had a nice balance, and the latte was smooth. Service was friendly, and the cozy atmosphere made it a nice place to relax. Would come back for a simple, good breakfast.
