New Years Eve run by Crown was misleading, indicated “premium cocktails” but was not.
I don’t know in what world beer, vodka sodas, gin and tonics, and vodka crans are PREMIUM cocktails. Overall disappointed with that and will make me not come again even for non -nye events.
Photos for event showed tons of lounge seating, eluded to a lounge environment as well but when we showed up for the event the only seating was outside in the cold, no outdoor heaters either like other premium rooftops.
This place needs a better event manager and post less misleading photos.

Came to The Crown excited about the Santa Bar Crawl, and unfortunately had the experience ruined by one of the bartenders, who was noted on the receipt as Dan. After ordering 5 Sex on the Beaches (with the total being $156.78, meaning $31.35 per plastic cup drink), he then charged us for 6 drinks (pic attached), and then proceeded to become aggravated at us for not tipping him. I understand the importance of tipping, but even after charging us for the extra drink and not refunding despite us confronting him about it immediately, he still was yelling at us for not tipping (who would after that experience?) and then proceeded to charge expensively when someone else in our party asked for just plain water. Given that the bar was unfortunately quite empty and the fact we already paid tickets for the bar crawl event, it was a shame that this occurred when we were bringing them business. We did not purchase anything else for the rest of the night. Otherwise, the rooftop was quite nice but all of our moods were ruined and we were quite disappointed in the establishment allowing such rude service.

Stopped by The Crown last night with a group while out caroling and had a great time. We stayed for about an hour, grabbed pizza and drinks, and really enjoyed hanging out on the rooftop terrace. The space was lively but comfortable, service was friendly, and it was a perfect spot to warm up and relax. Would definitely come back especially for the rooftop.

Went to The Crown and loved it! The views are honestly some of the best in NYC (and we visit rooftop bars regularly!). The vibes were great, there’s a live DJ every week, and the drinks and bites were on point. Thanks to Elisa for organizing our visit, we’ll definitely be back soon! :)

Staying in the hotel visited the Crown tonight @ 10pm. So bad, two guys behind the bar two customers at the bar. Waited & waited no one came over. Spoke to the chap ‘working on his own’ before leaving. Worst experience ever go anywhere else!

Drinks are phenomenal, customer service is excellent, vibes are through the roof. Give a shout to my boy Corey best manager in the city. Lost my wallet and they found me looking for it and returned immediately. Top tier bar absolutely recommend.
While the views are great, the music is too loud to have a conversation, and the rooftop bar may be closed without prior notice for special events. We took the elevator from our room up the roof and were physically stopped by security at the elevator and told to go back down without further explanation. In the lobby we asked and they told us there was a private event. When you pay extra for a hotel with a rooftop bar, it's disappointing to be told you are not welcome on the roof.
