I travel to NYC frequently for short trips, and The Dish is my restaurant of choice for lunch just about each and every time. Menu is extensive - with just about anything a person would like ... breakfasts, burgers sandwiches, main courses, salads ... you name it, it's probably on the menu somewhere. Service is outstanding and the pride of the owners show through in the personal service, the quality of the food, and the overall atmosphere. Portions tend to be on the large size, so come hungry. Dishes are made from scratch. Breakfasts are great. Located in Chelsea, a short walk from the 8th Ave subway 23rd St Station (C, E Trains).
