The Dutch is a classic fine-dining restaurant with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including the popular hot fried chicken and spring pea ravioli with ricotta. Guests can enjoy an extensive and interesting brunch menu, with highlights like crab stuffed deviled eggs, aged steak entrée, and lobster frittata. The staff provides attentive service, and the restaurant is much larger inside than it appears from outside, creating a warm and charming setting. The coffee, especially the flat white, is surprisingly good, and the Key Line Donut is a standout with its softness and perfect sweetness. The steak and kimchi rice was delicious and the flavors were so different. The ambience was unique, it was a lovely evening to sit outside. The server and hostess were both kind and helpful. The bar scene is great, perfect for people watching and reliably the place to go with grown children or out of town guests. Desserts were new and the chocolate pudding and the real winner was the apple dessert. The chicken was delicious, pasta was fantastic. The service is fantastic and the food is great. Carmellini has put together a menu with something for everyone even if looking for a surprise. Thoughtful touches like surprising guests with a dessert with a sparkly candle for a birthday celebration are why customers keep coming back to this neighborhood gem.
