Golden Swan in the West Village offers a high-end dining experience with intimate lighting and charm. While the service is polite and knowledgeable, the delays between drink and food orders can make the experience feel prolonged. The food is decent but overly salty, typical for new restaurants. For a better atmosphere, it’s recommended to sit downstairs for a more relaxed vibe, while upstairs feels more formal. Ps- The sticky toffee pudding was incredible.
Elegant restaurant in the old Spotted Pig space. First visit. Friendly and competent service, quite professional and crisp. Lovely room, great vibe. Was empty at 6 pm, full(ish) at 7:30/8. Menu is kinda old school but there is something for everyone, fish, burger, chicken, pork chop, a couple of pastas and some nice cold appetizers as well. Top notch restaurant, the cocktails and food were delicious, including the sticky toffee pudding for dessert! In an era where great service is hard to come by, the whole staff made our experience excellent. The service goes above and beyond! Thank you!
