Midtown shan’t have a monopoly on fine, middle‑of‑road Irish pubs. Thankfully, The Grafton serves the East Village crowd with a Connolly‑esque community center vibe. Many TVs cover Euro soccer and American sports, while the kitchen turns out tasty grub (including non‑meat options). And golly: what a large, well‑stocked bar!
Friendly, adept staff make this a go‑to—whether for a solo dinner or gathering of the gang. May the Graf long rake in the moolah! Ka‑ching $$ :-)

The complete package delivered true enjoyment. It's a cozy spot that gets busy at noon, yet maintains good food and service standards. Staff delivered competent service throughout. The dishes maintained quality, I should acknowledge. Found this place with the help of yelp and would return at any time!

Came on a Monday in September. For Guinness lovers this is an absolute must. Saw a bad review on Reddit and possibly they had an off night but in my humble opinion along with dead rabbit on their game and Conleys this is the place. Great for ages 25 and up,

Chloe the bartender was absolutely phenomenal ! Never met someone more attentive and caring. Take notes - this is the bartender blueprint.

Meh burgers - deafeningly loud music with the cliental all screaming to talk to each other. It's ok but there are better local options.

I stopped by for St. Patrick's Day. The fries was tasty and the dipping sauce was also delicious. The drinks were great. The atmosphere was nice.

the bartender had a real attitude, and was condescending, was not helpful and told me i needed to order a minimum of two drinks AFTER he took my card and tried to lie to me saying i ordered four drinks when i only asked for one. there’s other reviews here saying the staff are not friendly to poc and he definitely gave me that impression. Another bartender later helped me with my tab and he said nothing about the two drink minimum and I paid for my one drink.
Fun Irish sports bar, EPL, rugby,NFL. Gets crowded for big matches, can't reserve seats/tables day of event. Great bartenders, excellent Guinness. Pub menu.

What a sports bar should be, the staff are on it as well. The food is surprisingly good, was expecting the usual bar adjacent food, but it’s good separate from the bar!
Excellent ambiance, service, and food. The staff are especially wonderful and treat you like family. It can get pretty busy for certain sporting events, especially college football, but even then, everyone is very accommodating to requests. Reservations help, the owner/managers will get back to you promptly and make sure you are pleased. They have one of the best burgers in the neighborhood, and their avocado toast for brunch is uniquely delicious.

If you don't want to be discriminated against as a person of color I highly suggest staying away from this place. I went in there with my service dog and was told by staff and management that it was fine as long as he was not barking, which he wasn't. Once I was seated and ready to order the owner decided to come up and call me out Infront of everyone and said I needed to leave with my dog and if I could not provide a card for my service animal, which is illegal in NYC to ask as a business owner. This incident however, is not the first time I was met with hostility by staff and management at Grafton. So please be cautious if you are a person of color or a dog owner when going there.

I had the most inappropriate interaction with the host on Saturday afternoon.
I was with my boyfriend and my service dog about to meet some friends on the back garden and the hostels repeatedly told me that my dog was not allowed.
I told her he was a service dog but that wasn’t not enough so she pulled a document and held the line to ask me what disability i had from the list of the ones approved form the NyC department of health.
After i explained what was my disability i had to show my dog documentation and finally was granted access.
The beer was great but the service terrible.
