The Independent Cafe is such a great spot for lunch around Lincoln Center! The service is quick and everyone who works there is so kind and friendly. The drinks are great and I always enjoy the avocado sandwich! Often, when I stop by in the afternoon for tea, there is a soundcheck happening which is always such a nice surprise in the afternoon.
Good food. My friend and I got two lunch specials, soup, breakfast sandwich. The service is top tier. There was a slight issue with my order and the manager, who is very sweet and professional, handled it perfectly.
The best option for breakfast or lunch at Lincoln Center. Not fancy, just delicious freshly made food. Love the 1/2 sandwich 1/2 salad combo.
