The Leopard is always flawless. Delicious food, extensive wine selection. knowledgeable and caring servers. And who can beat the ambience of that sumptuous old room at the former Cafe des Artistes?

I felt uncomfortalble with three waiters watching me the whole time. What did they think? I was going to steal the silverware. I have a life threatening neurological condition. They were horrified when I took out my medication to take to keep me from being paralyzed and just watched me drop a very important urgent medication and left it very visible on the foot all night. When I left the restroom wity my brain damaged unsteady gait, a waitress I passed By thought it was humorous. No accessible bathroom. If you have a disability, don't waste your time with th se judgmental narrow minded elitists. BTW, I'm an Army veteran and a successful physician and these middle-aged waiters have the nerve to look down on me?

The setting is very special with playful murals of modern nymphs in a well proportioned and decorated room. The service was attentive and professional but not suffocating. Our meal was superb, the Dover Sole was done perfectly , and presented professionally. The Bronzino with Mediterranean garnishes was received enthusiastically by Diane. This is not our first visit and look forward to the next.

The food is fine, but not great for the price and aspiration. The pasta was soggy. The wine list has very limited choices in the reasonable by the glass (around $25) prices. No Cabernet. No Chardonnay. To get those you have to go to a separate pricier list, where Chardonnay is $40! But it's a nice ambiance and wall decorations.

I like a quiet restaurant and normally seat outside at The Leopard. The new umbrellas do not allow seating outside, ehen it is raining. The noise inside makes talking almost impossible.

Highly recommend and will definitely come back. Our whole meal, service and atmosphere were all wonderful. Food was so delicious and fresh. We had the Scialatteli pasta dish as our appetizer and for main courses the Capessante sea scallops and the Dover Sole special which were all amazing.

The food and service were excellent. A lovely place to have a dinner after a matinee performance at Lincoln Center.

Great restaurant. Always consistent. Went on Easter Sunday. Table chatter and the Jazz combo brought the noise level up quite a bit but still enjoyable nevertheless...

The place is ok, food is average compared to the choices in Manhattan. Service is good, but not great. Not a place that motivates me to go back. The restaurant is not bad, but not a great experience to repeat.

We love coming to the city and dining at The Leopard. It feels like home, warm and welcoming. We love Gabriella! Pasta, Dover Sole and salads are primo!

I am a single woman and I had a reservation and yet when I arrived the hostess offered me a spot at the bar. I declined and I got a table in the back by the bar where people pass to use the toilet as well as employees passing repeatedly. I never saw the pretty paintings on the wall. I wonder when fine restaurants will begin to treat single women diners with the same respect they give to their other customers. I don’t care that my tab will be less and the restaurant shouldn’t either. It should be about providing every person with a lovely experience. Treat your single women customers like a queen, not a pauper. The server pushed me to have an appetizer after I said I would be having a salad as my first course. I don’t want sales as a part of my dining experience. The beet salad was fresh and the earthy beets paired with the frisée and little dollops of cheese and nuts was pleasant. The halibut in the tiny bit of thyme sauce was perfect and the three little carrots were nice but the grilled endive was a huge misstep. The grilled endive was tough and tasted of a grill. No one wants the charcoally grill as a flavor component in their mouths. The server tried to tell me it is a traditional Italian dish and while that it true, it is not true that it is cold and tough and tastes like the grill. It should be tender with a mellow flavor that doesn’t bite your tongue. Needless to say, It didn’t pair well with the rest of the dish. The dish wanted a bit of potato or cauliflower puree. Thank goodness for the few tomatoes on the halibut or it might have been a beautifully cooked piece of fish with no flavors to elevate it. The lemon meringue tart was very nice although there were too many meringues on it making it too sweet. The little dollops of cream on the plate served the lemon curd of the tart much better. My bill was $164.
