Nothing really stands out about this bar. The atmosphere and vibe are nice and the service is decent. We were there on a Thursday, in the mid-afternoon, and it was very quiet. They have a happy hour that isn't much of deal if you enjoy "good beer" because the discounts are only for the basic, domestic beers. They a couple of bar snacks (pretzel, burgers, chips) and a decent selection of craft beer. It's a sports bar so there are plenty of TVs.

We came in on Chrismas day 25th around 11pm.There was a only male bartender working at the bar. When we came in,he was clearly drunk(was not be intoxicated). We didn't really care because we understood bartenders needed to drink with customers sometimes and it was Chrismas day. However, the bartender was quite rude when he took our order."What!?","Hah?" with arrogant tone.If you can't hear what customers said, please lower the very loud music volume or at least say "Excuse me".We didn't really care about it since we've been living in NYC for decades. We wanted to order more drinks, but the bartender was talking to other patrons long time and didn't check other customers at all.So we decided to leave.I stood up and asked for check. He asked my name to find my tab,but my name was not typical American name,so I hesitated to tell my name worrying he might not catch my name. Then he looked down and threw me "Don't you even know your name? Ha". obnoxiously.I liked this bar and had been here couple times before.Always enjoyed the time with my friends.I don't think I would spend my hard working money anymore to be served by drunk rude bartender.I'm neither picky nor demanding, just wanted to order my drinks, pay and leave good tips.I appriciate if there are tablets to place drink orders by ourselves if bartender don't provide better service than machine. There are tons of bars in east village and I don't mind higher price tag for better bartenders or even self checkout.

Cool bar. I didn't try the food so I can't rate it. I went in the afternoon around 1pm. There weren't many people. Their happy hour starts at 12pm. They have good deals. Pete, the bartender is very nice. The atmosphere is laid back. I will definitely come back.

Absolute scam , I gave the bartender my credit card and before I could get a drink there was a 20$ charge from the bar on there. Absolute joke of a place.AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Simply just a fine place to get a beer and watch a sports game. The bar was pretty empty for a high profile MNF game, which I was surprised by, but hey - no complaints. $7 bud light on tap is pretty good for this area and TV screens were solid for watching, yet not too huge. Wish they had a food menu readily available to have some food with a drink, but alas. But standard, many replaceable places in the area

I remember this spot since at least "The Thirsty Scholar" days! The sawdust after Thirsty Scholar was a little confusing afterwards.I enjoy the spot's current iteration as "The Long Pour". Lots of TV's to watch sports and just a chill atmosphere

We were presently surprised when we came across this fun little bar! We popped in just to wait for our reservation down the street but ended up staying for a few Drinks. The staff was really friendly and the beers were really good. It felt like a hidden gem

Came here a few weekends ago. This used to be the Thirsty Scholar and I don't think I've been back here since it was that bar years ago. It definitely looks different and less scholarly? No books on the wall and has been transformed into kind of a traditional dive sports bar but with a baby yoda statue glaring at me on the wall. I came here post happy hour but I think they have some deals ($1 off drafts that are already $8-9,$7 well, $9 wine) before 7pm on weekdays. I had just a beer or two but they had a pretty good selection. Was surprised blue point blueberry was there in bottle form. They have some exotic sounding cocktails for anywhere between $8-15. One of which I read involved peanut butter cups and I have to wonder if it's cash or trash. It's a chill no thrills sports bar.
