Brunch food is really blah not much effort staff is friendly

A delicious and BEAUTIFUL meal. I appreciated how accommodating and kind the server was about my allergies — this place is fine dining for anyone with a food disability or dietary restrictions. Our group had the grilled carrots which seemed to be a star, mushroom tartare which was interesting, burrata, halibut, trout, lasagne and ravioli. All delicious — and a cozy west village environment.
Had a wonderful dinner here for our last night in NYC. The Maitake tartare was dreamy, the trout was light and fresh, and we loved both the olive oil cake and the chocolate marquis. We have gluten and soy allergies. This restaurant was very good about checking to make sure everything was safe for us. Our server also gave us great wine reccommendations. Highly reccommend the fig Negroni as well. Looking forward to our next visit!

The food was superb The experience was very festive. Everyone was very friendly and the waitress was fantastic. We all had the specials. 2 Halibut and 2 Short Ribs, both were delicious.

Me and two friends decided to get lunch in the area on short notice one nice October Sunday morning. And you know what that means: all highly rated restaurants in the area were fully booked 🤣
After walking around for 10-15 minutes without finding a place, I decided to call The Mary Lane anyway despite no availability on the app. Luckily they could fit us in for about an hour and a half! Yay! 😄
Moral of the story above: sometimes an old fashioned phone call can go further 😄
Anyway, the food was fabulous 😀 all three of us loved all of the dishes we ordered!
It was just a wonderful experience!

Great restaurant in the west village with creative dishes.
We come to the Mary lane every time we’re in the city. It is so special. Of all the places we eat in New York, the Mary Lane in the West village is our favorite for special occasions. It’s just fabulous.

We came here on whim, got a table on short notice. Started out with cocktails, classic and delicious. The fig salad had the perfect amount of blue cheese... And that blue cheese is delicious. The chicken ravioli could not be better. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The trout was covered to perfection and has wonderful flavor surprises. We did not have dessert, but they looked great. So glad we found The Mary Lane!
