Though the cafe brands itself as all-American, service is very brusque even for NYC, with plenty of eye rolls, in the best Soviet tradition. The food is decent though, and there's no line out the door - unlike the breakfast options a block away. Wonder why.

Worst deli in this part of Manhattan. They had a big sign saying for 12 dollars half soup half sandwich. I ordered the special. When they charged me they said it was 20 dollars because they stopped doing the deal despite no where on the sign indicated it. I wanted soup and sandwich anyways so I paid it. The sandwich was horrible! It tasted like a 7/11 sandwich. The bread was stale. Complete rip off.

Stay away fron online ordering. If they do not have something or they run out, they just won’t give you a refund. They are incapable of refunding you what they don’t have. They want you to choose an alternate so that they can keep your money. I think a basic commerce exercise is to give money back for something they do not have.

Food quantity and quality actually matches the prices. One of the best priced options in the area for breakfast

The disappointed diners must have come before recent improvements. The Mill offers both positional advantage and proper service. The employees show authentic kindness. My goal is to try every dish they make. My family and I plan to be regulars here.

This is the best deli in the neighborhood (52/Lex), maybe Midtown. Very courteous cooks and the nicest cashiers in the city. The breakfast grill team is impressive. This place is always clean, somewhere you can rely on in a rush or if you want to grab a beer from the fridge and relax at a table.

I am changing a previous negative review that was posted. The owner responded, and invited me to give this store another try. I did give the store another try, and I'm glad I did. I think my original review was hasty, and this place is back on good terms with me.

I ordered the Southern wrap and added bacon, it was really good and very filling. I visited on a Saturday in June around 1:00 PM and service was friendly and fast, it wasn't crowded. My wrap was tasty and the 2 croissant sandwiches made before mine looked delicious. The price was moderately cheap for Manhattan. I would go back again.

There was a second counter-service area with coffee, smoothies, salads, and other items, as well as a friendly staff and a laid-back atmosphere with more seating than you'd expect. I had the speciality K town burrito, which included hashbrowns, kimchi, and mozzarella, and it was delicious.

top service, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, well presented store and very friendly and helpful staff. Biggest problem was picking what meal to eat as there were so many delicious ones to choose from will be back!
