We came for brunch and I can recommend the Duck & Veggie hash options - very filling and really tasty. Very attentive with the water - the team were friendly and welcoming; I enjoyed our visit.

Promo service from the initial water and bread delivery all the way through to cocktails and dessert. Our server, Erin was lovely and the busmen were so professional. Octopus, pasta, moussaka (which should really be called stacked eggplant parmesan) were all delicious.

Lovely ambiance, lovely service: food was surprisingly disappointing. The potato leek soup was rather glue-y and gloppy, the beet salad was ok but needed more everything, and the moussaka was room temperature, lacked zing and zest and savoriness, plus small portions. Again, the service and ambiance were nice, but it was way way too expensive for a not good meal.

We had the potato leek soup to start, and then 2 of us had the duck, 1 the Branzino, and 1 the chicken. We were all pleased with everything we ate, including the generous-sized warm apple Tarte Tatin with vanilla ice cream and the chocolate lava (?) cake. The restaurant is beautiful inside, the food is delicious, the staff are helpful, pleasant, and attentive. It is a wonderful place to dine.

Went for dinner. Appetizers were great, for the mains the best was the squid pasta, service was little slow but the ambiance was great.

Stunning space and interior with soaring ceilings - very rare for Manhattan! The food is also very good and thoughtfully prepared.

Busy Saturday night, but service was slow, unable to get waiter's attention, food was nothing special. I've eaten here many times and recommended it, but this visit was a real disappointment.

We first had a drink at the bar. We needed to kill time because we had 7:00 reservations & our show was @9:30. The bartenders were friendly & the bar area was large. When it came time to be seated we walked through a long hallway & entered a very large & impressive atrium . The space was draped in typical sunflower yellow lighting. We were placed in the back of the restaurant against the wall which was perfect for us. The tables were so close together that at least we didn't have someone to one side. While browsing through the menu my wife realized water was dripping down onto our table. We didn't say until the 3rd or 4th drop. They moved us to a dry table & we sat right next to another couple who had the same problem. Although we didn't want to be rushed it was hard to get our waiters attention. Our meals were ok but I don't think we will be going back. The place was too loud. I'm sure it would be a nice atmosphere in the daytime as the atrium would be glowing with natural light but the night lighting could be better. The men's bathroom has a sign saying watch your step, heed the warning. As you open the door a set of stairs is right in front of you. It was a good thing our waiter wasn't quick on the drinks or I would have went head first down the six steps. Good luck.

Came here on Valentine's day with my wife, to our surprise, it was a pre-fixed menu. However, that didn't stop us from eating here. When we entered, we were greeted by the hostess, it ambiance was low-light, but gave the vibe for a romantic evening. I must note that this is a fine-dining experience. We didn't know this at the time, but be warn that you will spend a lot of money compare to a regular american restaurant. Going back to the service, we probably got served the appetizer maybe 40-50 mins after we arrived. Everything we got was good as well as the dessert. The portion was also a plus. As someone who loves to eat, I was stuffed with the pre-fix menu. I don't think you will go wrong with whatever option you choose. Overall, if you are looking for a romantic date setting or want to do a fancy dinner or lunch, I recommend this place. The food is good and the right portion, but despite this, I felt something was missing to make the food pop and make me feel like I was having a full fine dining experience. I didn't experience a dish that would drive me crazy to go back. Decors definitely get a 5/5.

Slow service — drinks arrived, but about a half hour wait for arrival of food. When requesting some bread because we were concerned about someone drinking a Bloody Mary with no food yet that day, a bus person didn't seem to understand and seemed to be saying no. He was trying to explain something but we couldn't understand. I think it may have been a language problem, but it also didn't seem that the request would be passed on to wait staff to solve if there was a miscommunication. Thanks.

We had dinner at The Milling Room before going to see Seinfeld at the Beacon Theater. The restaurant was beautifully decorated, with little white lights, and a cozy feeling. The wait staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious. We said we had a show to attend, and our waiter told us that the apple dessert takes about 10 minutes- which we said was fine, and appreciated that he told us- and it was so worth the 10 minutes! We will definitely be back!

Is NYC in a food crisis? $37 for a shot Casamigos Reposado (boooo) and a little tail piece of branzino for an entry dish is called a dinner? Nice space, that's all there is to it. Will not be going back there.

Celebrated husband's birthday and we enjoyed everything. Cocktails were amazing, impeccable service and food was delicious. Short walk to beacon theater so nice locale for pre-show dinner. Highly recommend.

We were celebrating my son's PhD with family and my son's future in-laws from CO. We chose the Milling Room because of its great food and attentive service. Unfortunately, this time the service was non-existent! My husband couldn't flag down a waiter after us sitting for nearly 30 minutes with no one in sight to order drinks. Then the waiter attempted to rush us into ordering food three minutes after our drink order. Then once again crickets. Our food was excellent but the service put a damper on our evening. With a party of 7 and a reservation clearly stating a celebration this was both surprising and inexcusable! BTW, no apologies or compensation for the poor service.

Arriving for brunch, we were greeted by a soothing ambiance. The venue exuded a pleasing aesthetic. The chilaquiles proved to be delicious, while the eggs Norwegian was average. Overall, a favorable spot for a laid-back and peaceful brunch outing.
