Food was good, but very expensive. Ambiance is LOUD. Service was OK, but when we were there, the place was packed.

They are trying to pull off a French restaurant vibe, but they won't even put a basket of bread on the table. Everything is an upcharge.

Overall all, it is a poseur restaurant with a #1 priority of maximizing profit. We paid around $53/per person, and the only thing we ordered were entrees. No drinks, no dessert or extras.

Super classic NYC but food is not top level even though it's priced that way.

Was in town and came here for dinner last week, got horrible food poisoning. 99.9% sure the food poisoning was from the mussels, so beware. Super annoying to have to pay for a dinner that ended up making you violently ill and miss out on your travel time in nyc. Lastly, the food wasn’t even that good to begin with.

love the odeon! my husband and i visit new york a few times a year and try to get to the odeon every trip. the food and service is always great. last time we were there (jan 1 2026) i asked one of the hostesses what mascara she was using because her eyelashes were incredible. she told me it was the tower 28 mascara and i’ve been using it ever since. shout out to the hostess with amazing eyelashes for the tip. i owe you!

While visiting NYC, we went here to enjoy brunch with local family that lives in the city. The food was very good. Burgers and Flank steak. The fries were good, but I like them extra extra crispy. The service was spectacular. Our server was perfect, not bothering us as we were chatting and catching up, but seemed to know the exact moment he needed to come by and check on us.

Another Keith McNally institution that delivers consistently great food and service in a uniquely Parisian (yet somehow also New York!) setting. A classic place that never disappoints. Of a piece with Cafe Luxembourg, Balthazar, and Pastis--all similarly great McNally institutions.

Amazing starters, burger and mac&cheese average. Extremely good vibe, many people, busy place with hit or miss service.

The Odeon falls short across the board. The food and service were both just average, and the atmosphere was below expectations. Unfortunately, there's not much to recommend here - the overall experience was underwhelming.

Centrally located in the heart of NYC where I was able to meet with colleagues over lunch. Food was good prices reasonable. Few celebrities may be seen at your visit.

Amazing historic spot. Casual but upscale. Incredible food, service and setting. Same owner as Balthazar so that isn't surprising. Always packed so make a reservation. We happened to go on the restaurant's anniversary and they gave the entire restaurant a complimentary cocktail of their choice. Class act.
