Was not expecting Max to be crowded on a cold Tuesday night, but it was packed. Luckily we had a reservation. Noise level was high, but not too bad to converse. Service was great and the food even better.
Outstanding food with broad menu Am from RI and used to very good Italian food and this was among best I have had in NYC waiter recommended chicken parmigiana ( not listed on menu) which was outstanding- very tender and generous portion Will definitely return - was worth the trip from Midtown where stayed

Brought me and my seven girlfriends here for my 23rd birthday on a Sunday night and although the room is definitely tight, it makes for a cozy atmosphere. our server, Sam was super patient and gave great recommendations! I will definitely be coming back here soon as me and my friends cannot stop talking about how good this food is. all the food was absolutely incredible and tasty but the ravioli definitely was my favorite. so glad I chose my birthday dinner here!Vegetarian options:...read full review
