I absolutely loved the Picnic Basket. I stumbled in here while visiting New York and I can't wait to visit again. I had a grilled Halloumi sandwich and the lentil soup they always have. The sandwich was fabulous but I could not stop talking about the soup! The staff was also very friendly and walked me through my order and recommended a special sauce I dipped my chips into. Love Picnic Basket!

I used to like coming here but I guess their food quality is down now. Today I ordered a chicken sandwich and the chicken was undercooked. The chicken was still hard and salty. This sucks because sandwiches here aren’t cheap.

Amazing spot for sandwiches and wraps. I come here all the time for lunch. The Chimi Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Amarillo sandwiches are fire.

Always loved this place and sure, it is one of a kind, but was disappointed a little today. I took a day off, especially to go there and order my favorite goat cheese sandwich . For years, I order it when have a chance. It's my favorite. When started to eat, I noticed that fig spread was missing and it gave absolutely different taste. If I would know ahead that they were out of it, I would order something different.

Last day in NYC and we stopped in before catching the train back to Ohio. All four of us had great food, but just as important was the great energy, smiles, and welcoming and friendly service. We got there before the lunch rush and ate in. The staff/owners interacted with everyone with kindness. They deserve all the stars!

Picnic basket is my go to lunch place for a amazing panini! It’s way too good and fresh. I did not get to explore most of the menu over the years because I keep ordering the same pastrami panini each time!

Stopped in for a quick bite. I was really craving a sandwich. I got a turkey and Swiss (but subbed provolone). It was so good after a week of traveling and visiting the city. The atmosphere is good and the guy at the conter is pretty chill.

The best sandwich place of all time. I come here 1x a week and order the prosciutto sandwich with avocado and it is the BEST ever. The staff is also wonderful and super friendly. Make sure to ask about a discount for your first time here (just have to leave a Yelp review!!!).

The goat cheese sandwich is to die for. Did not skimp out on the goat cheese and the sandwich was big enough to save half for later!
