So here are the problems that I encountered. Before I begin, I'd like to indicate that I've been blessed to be able to explore hundreds of restaurants throughout the city.I went to the porch a few times to give it a shot since it recently opened but had some horrible experiences. I brought a date on a Friday one week for dinner and drinks easily going over $100. The problem is that we both ordered 2 cans of beer and it took 20 min to receive it. Worse yet is that our server literally stopped to talk to her coworkers etc. while my date and I could see the beers we wanted in the fridge. When I brought this to her attention she gave me attitude which was shocking considering the fact that I had every reason to be upset. This wasn't the first time that this happened but also the 2nd and 3rd time. What the owner needs to realize is that I never went back for this reason and simply went to Harlem Public and other places on Broadway. The final nail in the coffin is that my date said the same thing and finished our date by saying "I never want to come back to this place, let's get out of here and stop wasting our money."

Went there for dinner date and to take in some local jazz. Food was terrific. The shrimp po' boy was large and tasty with so many accompanying fries that I had to take most of them home. Beers were great. Cocktails even better. Our server Ryan was the best and gave us great recommendations. Loved the quarter that played. Will come back again for more of the same.

Live music was amazing! they still ahve kninks to work out. Bartender was kind...but was a 20+min wait for cocktails. the food menues were all different and we had trouble understanding what was or was not on the menu. our second round of drinks never came. we LOVED the drinks but we we had to ask a few times for the drinks and they still never came so we just paid our bill, tipped the band and moved to the next spot. Very small and cozy space that can get crowded very fast. go for the music!

We went to the Porch to see Natasha Blaine perform. It is a very welcoming place, however there are no gluten free choices, the quality of the food is poor, service was awful (owner explained they were short staffed) but that doesn't address simply not bringing ordered drinks even though we reminded them 3 times. Very happy to see live music!!!!

Again went to hear music, but this time my husband was playing in the band. After Friday evening, I knew what to go for in terms of food and was very pleased with my selections. Our waitress was amazing. I look forward to returning to The Porch.

Drinks were ok here. DrinkableFood was so unclear. You’re eating it, it doesn’t any taste and you’re not clear if you like it or not. Definitely not Cajun.I highly recommend ask check once you walk in and seated. It took about 40-55 minutes for us to get a check. We asked 4!!! Times for a check during this long wait. I even end up asking if our dinner was on a house.I’ll never be back to this place

We had a great time at The Porch! The place checks all the boxes. Warm friendly vibe, great music line up (check the website) an interesting menu of tasty food and drink at reasonable prices. When you walk in the door you get the feeling you've found what will surely become a destination venue for customers and preforming artists alike.Addendum: back to The Porch again. The place just keeps getting better. We had a wonderful experience!

Live music! Good music! Good food, good drinks! Wish they had a dance floor, but honestly I love the place, and it’s just getting better.

First time addy the Porch. Really liked the vibe and style of the places staff was professional without being overly friendly. It took a while for food to arrive. I ordered the jackfruit sandwich, it was tasty but a little sweet (have had better at other places) but the shrimp beignets, collard greens, cajun rice and mac n cheese sides were delicious. Even ther wedge fries were very tasty. I made the reservation with open table and it was a bit confusing about the music fee of $15pp. I was left w the impression that it was a minimum purchase for food and beverage and not a separate fee on top. Not a deal breaker, we really enjoyed our evening. But I'd definitely let anyone I recommend to go there to expect that charge in addition to their food bill.

It’s a good new place. Ordered waffles and nuggets and gravy biscuit, it was good. The waiter Ryan was very sweet and hospitality was amazing. Live jazz music for brunch? Wow sign me up. My first jazz experience. I’m impressed tbh, aesthetic place

Wonderful venue - food was really great and the music was outstanding. The audience was a listening audience and not much chatter which made it easy to listen. Owner Mark very friendly and welcoming as was the outgoing and kind bartender Hannah. Very nice venue. Nothing pretentious but warm and welcoming.

Love love love this place. Food can be an acquired taste but the drinks are amazing and so are the servers. I adore the love music and the staff is very accommodating with drinking needs.

Came here with some co workers on a Sunday for some quick brunch and it was pretty nice. They have live bands inside, live DJ’s outside and overall a pretty dope vibe.We ordered the Shrimp Beignets, Hot wings, and the Full Rack Rib meal with the Cajun potato wedges. I personally loved the shrimp beignets, which are kinda like a shrimp fish cake. They were so good with chipotle mayo sauce. We were obviously to lit because I forgot what we had for drinks as it was our second spot of the day…. Any whoooo y’all give THE PORCH a try!

I had the brisket sandwich with a side of fries and it was amazing. As good as I've had anywhere, The deserts are home made and change. I tried the apple pie and pistachio cake. I was a bit hesitant to try the cake, i couldn't imagine what it would taste like. it was exquisite. The pie was delicious though I'd prefer it warm.
