A Hidden Jewel for a Romantic Night Out – Exceptional in Every Way!

We had a truly wonderful experience ( my husband and I) at The Raines Law Room at The William. From the moment we arrived, the hostess greeted us with a warm and gracious welcome, setting the tone for a special evening. Our waiter provided equally exceptional service, attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely kind. Also, very elegant waiter!

The cocktails were fantastic—a well-balanced whiskey drink and a passion fruit cocktail that I absolutely recommend if you're looking for something both refreshing and unique.

We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and the thoughtful touches made it extra memorable. They surprised us with a sweet handwritten card on our reserved table and generously offered us two glasses of champagne on the house—a lovely and personal gesture that meant a lot. Thank you so much for this!

The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with decor reminiscent of a classic, antique library. It feels like you’ve stepped into a private, timeless retreat—perfect for a date night or any special occasion.

This place is a true gem in the city, combining elegant ambiance, thoughtful service, and masterfully crafted drinks. I can’t recommend it enough!

Absolutely lovely experience here. I popped in to try the cocktails before a night out during a work trip. Even with no reservation, the team was able to squeeze me in a seat at the bar. The cozy space quickly filled up so I must have gotten in just at the right time. Alex, Ro and Jose were great - dealt with all my curious questions, served up fantastic, inventive cocktails, and juggled all the other orders that came in. I really enjoyed my visit and will happily be back.

I was not there to eat but to perform for a private party. The environment was beautiful and the food looked amazing. Staff very accommodating. Nice place for an elegant party

Where do I even begin with Jacks? He is an absolute gem and made our night one for the books. From the moment we walked in, Jacks greeted us with the warmest smile and an energy that instantly set the vibe. It was like being welcomed by your best friend.

I came here on back to back nights during a recent work trip NYC. Amazing drinks, perfect atmosphere, and a great staff. Rolando made my drinks and didn't miss a beat with my more obscure requests. In addition to the drinks we ordered, we had the chance to taste a spicy (too spicy?) martini riff in the works for the spring menu, and Rolando gave us a lesson in Guatemalan rums. Everything you want in a quality bar experience and more than makes up for the high drink prices (maybe normal for Manhattan though.)

I hosted my engagement party here and couldn’t recommend this venue more highly. The drinks were delicious, the ambiance was perfect, and the passed appetizers were fantastic. Their specialty cocktail menu is especially impressive—featuring unique drinks that are hard to find even at top cocktail bars.

A special thanks to Lauren, who flawlessly coordinated every detail. She was incredibly helpful, attentive, and transparent throughout the entire planning process.

I recently had a surprise 30th birthday party held here at Raines Law Room for my boyfriend, and could not recommend this venue enough! The entire team was so great to work with, leading up to the event and the day of. Lauren, the events coordinator, was such a pleasure to work with. Not only was she super responsive, but she was also so accommodating and worked with me to ensure every detail was taken care, whether it was naming the signature cocktails to having a drink tasting prior to the event. Even the day of, the surprise went off perfectly, with every bartender and server so friendly and knowledgable. I had numerous guests compliment the space and every detail, from the awesome food to unique tequila tasting.

If you are considering an event, I could not recommend this place enough, you will be so happy!!

Great service and delicious drinks. It is rather small and it can get loud if it's full.
