Such a fun couple of hours sitting at the Raines Law Room speakeasy bar and chatting with Austin prior to a show. He was so friendly and hospitable and the drinks! Loved Copper Canyon which was not on the menu and bourbon/rum old fashioned was phenomenal! What a beautiful setting. If you like speakeasy’s that have that perfect atmosphere you are looking for, come! Will definitely return when we come back to the Big Apple!

I went here last night for cocktails and was immediately met with excellent service and a friendly, warm welcome from Jax. From there, my friend & I had Jordan who took great care of us throughout the night and was very helpful and knowledgeable with cocktail recommendations! He was the perfect amount of attentive. My friend & I were celebrating a few things and Jax’s extra touches to honor this were so touching and memorable for us. The bar areas were gorgeous and I absolutely loved the aesthetic. This is a great spot for catching up with friends or even a date spot - it’s intimate, quiet and beautiful. The cocktails are top notch as is the service. Can’t wait to come back!

Had an amazing time at Raines Law Room! The drinks are really good, they change up their menu. The ambiance was perfect not too loud, they also have different rooms with different vibes/decor. Our waiter (Austin) really went above and beyond, he was so friendly and welcoming and gave us good recs for drinks. We loved it so much we came back the next night! We had come before and had equally great cocktails and experience. Can't recommend this place enough! Definitely come here if you want great drinks and a classy but relaxed ambiance.

Stepping into Raines Law Room at The William feels like discovering a hidden gem in the heart of Midtown East. The low lighting, vintage decor, and plush seating create an intimate speakeasy vibe that’s both cozy and refined. The layout with multiple parlors and garden seating offers the perfect backdrop for a quiet drink or a small gathering. 

The cocktails are truly the star. Each drink is meticulously crafted, balanced, and flavorful—creative takes on classics. I especially loved their passionfruit cocktail, a refreshing standout.  The knowledgeable staff made great recommendations and served everything with sophistication and warmth. 

Despite its central Manhattan location, Raines Law Room feels like a tranquil escape. It’s calm, relaxed, and perfect for date nights, unwinding after work, or leisurely conversation. They’re accommodating even without a reservation and seem to always find a seat for you.

On a visit to Manhattan my girlfriends and I visited Raines Law Room at The William on a Friday night. We received such exceptional service from Austin that we decided to return again the following night. Despite being incredibly busy, Austin checked in on us periodically and helped us tailor our drinks perfectly to match our tastes. At the end of the night he gave us a tour of each room and it's unique atmosphere. This is exactly the kind of experience you want at a cocktail bar. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

The manager at this location is incredibly considerate and thoughtful as well. The atmosphere is classy without pretension, fries are delicious, the noise level is moderate, and every single drink we had was beautifully crafted. Thank you Austin! Hope to see you again the next time we're in the area.

An unforgettable speakeasy experience for sure! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by V, who made us feel instantly welcome with her kindness and gracious hospitality. She truly set the tone for the evening and added a personal touch that elevated our entire visit.

The space itself is stunning—an intimate, moody setting with just the right mix of elegance and mystery. It’s the kind of place that invites you to slow down, sip, and savor the atmosphere.

Service was absolutely stellar throughout. Austin was fantastic and spot-on with his recommendations. I went with the Espresso Martini, which was perfectly balanced—smooth, rich, and not overly sweet. My partner had a unique twist on an Old Fashioned, made with smoked mezcal tequila—a bold and smoky take that was both unexpected and delicious.

If you’re looking for a cozy, elevated cocktail experience with unmatched hospitality, Raines Law Room at The William is it. We can’t wait to return!

Very interesting speakeasy. Excellent atmosphere and selection of cocktails on offer. The service was excellent too. Definitely worth a visit.

One downside, there are multiple locations so make sure you're headed to the correct one.

I absolutely love this place I’ve been here a few times and first heard about it from a friend. Since then, I’ve recommended it to all of my friends visiting New York.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot for a date night, this is it but be sure to make a reservation in advance. The drinks are outstanding, and the tuna tartare is a must-try. Highly recommended!

Came here for a bachelorette and this was by far the best bar out of the several we visited this night. Austin was fantastic and gave us the best recommendations and care. The drinks were amazing, the truffles delicious. I would 100% return here for any occasion or casually, they are amazing!
