The Red Flame Reviews
Horrible service, tried to make me pay before I ate. The owner even called me names. Would never bring anyone here again.
Staff could do with learning some manners and customer skills, plus learn to smile instead of looking so solemn.
The food is quite good and feels like home. The prices are affordable specially if you are in tourists mode. we went few times and they were consistent, friendly and fast in service. Recommend it.

The Red Flame is a well-liked diner in midtown, known for its consistent quality and solid diner food. The service is friendly and efficient, and the portion sizes are generous. The diner is a popular choice among locals and tourists alike. The restaurant offers a variety of delicious dishes, including the Belgian waffle with vanilla ice cream and maple syrup, and the pastrami sandwich. Customers have praised the turkey clubhouse sandwich, burgers, and Greek salad, as well as the BLT with avocado and the waffle with whipped cream and strawberries. While the prices are typical for New York, some customers have found certain dishes, such as the boiled eggs with ham and potato, to be overpriced.
