This place is always solid, and has been a go-to for my wife and I for years. The enchiladas are particularly good, and they have delicious, (*large*) margaritas, friendly staff and excellent service.

Big but rather expensive lunch specials. Service was very mid.

Had the chicken tinga taco salad at the bar. It was fantastic! The fresh chips, guacamole and salsa were outstanding (inhaled them). Friend had some bowl with shrimp, chicken and steak. He devoured the whole thing. Will definitely be back.

Excellent service and great prices for the area. I always get red sangria and tostadas (and they have been fresh & delicious every time!)

Went to this place for bottomless brunch on Saturday, and it couldn't have been better! Our server was fantastic and drinks were amazing!!! Can't beat it for the price.

Love the red grill! My go to affordable and authentic Mexican restaurant nearby. The chips and salsa are amazing and food always plentiful and delicious: a must try

I live around the corner. This is the best Mexican in the neighborhood. The rating should be higher. Portion size can improve but excellent quality

I have eaten at Red Grill twice and ordered the following salads:
Mexican Salad: Romaine lettuce, beans, cherry tomatoes, corn, cheese, avocado, and chips strips. And Shrimp Salad: Mix greens, cherry tomatoes, onions, avocado, and mango vinaigrette.

Neither salad lists olives as an ingredient, yet both came with sliced jar olives along with the olive liquid. Not a few olives that can easily be picked out by over 20 to 30 pieces of olives. And the strong flavor of olives from the olive liquid. On the second occasion I sent the salad back and had a good salad as per the description without olives. A few olives is one thing but there were so many olives it was a major ingredient in the salad. The point of this review is to ask either list olives or don’t put a quarter of a jar of olives in every salad .

I was in the mood for great Mexican food and wanted to try the Red Grill. The chips and salsa were good. The enchiladas were terrible. They were cold, dry and flat. The red sauce was more brown and was cold and thin. They didn’t taste like enchiladas at all. The waitress never came around to ask if I needed anything. When she did come to give me the bill I told her I didn’t like the meal. I barely touched it. She said “sorry.” Didn’t offer anything else.
It was a total waste if money and I left hungry.
I will still seek out a great Mexican restaurant on the upper east side.

The place looks really nice. Love the theme and the chairs are all little works of art. But that’s where the charm ends. Drinks were terrible, service was even worse and the food was meh.

The food is amazing! I am so glad to seethe numerous vegetarian options. The veggie fajitas were flavorful, the rice is good and the churros!! One of the best churros I’ve had. I also love how bright and colorful the decorations are.
