I have patronized this place before. It is across from the Gershwin(Wicked) theater which was the reason it was chosen for the first visit. There we 20 of us, we made a reservation and we were accommodated. Almost all of us had different menu items and not a single one of us had a bad meal. The prices were comparable to most other NYC establishments. The restaurant was very clean as were the rest rooms (very important to us ladies). This is not always the case in NYC. For these...
Nice staff, good food, great location (across from the Gershwin Theater, where we were headed next to see WICKED). Bonus: we were seated at a window table with a view of the theater and the Stagedoor for the theater!!!
McHale's is right in the heart of the Theatre district, and very convenient for a bite before or after a show. We were seated promptly and our orders taken by friendly staff. We ordered the Dubliner - burger with Irish bacon - and the hot roast beef sandwich. The burger was ordered medium/well and was served barely rare. The roast beef sandwich was well-done. We ate what we could salvage and got the check. Staff is wonderful, food not so much.
