Extremely creepy elevator visual and music. I even asked the front desk if there was an elevator I could use without that. Was unanimous opinion with every other guest I rode the elevator with there.

Love staying here - had a great view and the location is perfect for meThe rooms are good too - design - style - amenities all great - a coffee maker would be the only thing I’d add but there is plenty of coffee around

We adored the location of The Standard New York, perfectly situated for easy access to the vibrant Meatpacking District and overlooking the picturesque High Line. It's an ideal spot for couples seeking a romantic getaway, with the stunning views of the High Line adding to the allure. While the rooms were spacious and exuded a cozy ambiance, the layout might feel a bit intimate for families or coworkers. The bathroom's design is a tad unconventional, with a split layout that might not suit everyone's preferences. However, the beds were incredibly comfortable, providing a restful night's sleep akin to floating on a cloud.Despite the bustling city outside, noise wasn't a significant issue, though our busy schedule may have contributed to that. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, making us wish we had brought our furry friend along, as the hotel is pet-friendly. We were pleasantly surprised by a complimentary upgrade thanks to our Amex Platinum card, and the thoughtful touch of having doggie treats available was a delightful bonus.Overall, our stay was highly enjoyable, and we especially appreciated the convenient location. The Standard New York offers a unique and inviting atmosphere, perfect for couples looking for a cozy retreat in the heart of the city.

Amazing staycation! PJ at the front desk greeted us with impeccable hospitality and kindness as we got ready for a NYC staycation. As a born and raised New Yorker it’s easy to forget to enjoy the beautiful hotels. Thank you PJ for kicking off our weekend.

1. Great view2. Great amenities. Nothing was broken or dirty. A big bathtub and slippers were a plus.3. Great interior design. The lobby, hallway and elevators have an interesting theme. The room was both luxurious and cozy. The only minor problem was that the front desk did not have enough staffs, so checkin and checkout were slower than other hotels.

We stayed here 1/20/24 in an amazing corner suite with river views. I woke up around 4 am freezing. Only cold air was blowing. I called the front desk at 5 am. We waited freezing in the room. Maintenance didn’t come until around 8:45 am when we were trying to shower and get ready for the day. Maintenance indicated the heat was broken and needed a part. We were checking out anyway. When brought to the attention of the front desk, they offered us a $17 refund on a $750 room. After not accepting that, it was increased to $200. My husband has been staying here for many years and we love the rooms and vibe but the customer service is horrible. They made me feel like it was my fault the heat didn’t work.

Very loud banging rattle from an air conditioner in the ceiling above the bathroom created a constant grating jack hammering noise in the whole room that made it impossible to relax and sleep well without ear plugs. The bed mattress is uncomfortable hard plastic and also not conducive for a comfortable night sleep. Do not recommend staying if you are looking for a relaxing or comfortable stay.

I recently enjoyed a fantastic staycation at The Standard Highline Hotel, and it was nothing short of amazing. The view from the hotel was absolutely phenomenal, offering breathtaking sights of the city skyline. Believe me when I say, as a native New Yorker, these views were absolutely stunning!!The staff was incredibly attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable from start to finish. Check-in was a breeze with warm welcomes from each staff member. Checking out was smooth and quick; I received a nice good morning text asking about my departure time, so there was no need to visit the front desk on my way out.. The amenities were top-notch, with the gym standing out as particularly impressive, providing a great space to stay active and unwind. When it came to food options, the hotel did not disappoint. The variety was extensive, and the quality was superb, making for a delightful foodie experience throughout. One of the highlights of the location was its proximity to the Highline of course & The Whitney Museum, just steps away from the hotel. This allowed us to enjoy an impromptu visit to the museum, adding an extra layer of cultural enrichment to our stay.Overall, The Standard Highline Hotel offered an exceptional staycation experience, combining luxurious accommodations, outstanding amenities, and a prime location for exploring the city. Highly recommended!

Horrific experience. I was there for one night for work travel - my credit card, that was held on file for incidentals, was used fraudulently at the hotel restaurant. Someone charged a meal “to the room” and signed the receipt. Upon contacting the hotel of this fraud, they informed me that I would not be refunded the amount because the receipt was signed!! Absolutely insane and unacceptable. Do not stay here, do not use your card here, super insecure. I have shared this experience with my company and they have informed teams of the experience and to not book at this hotel - and would advise the same for anyone else!

This hotel is average, at best. The rooms are NYC sized, but are comfortable. There’s no spa and no gym. I was on the 11th floor and all night long I could hear the thumping music on the rooftop (18th floor). It made it very difficult to sleep. At this price point, there are better options to choose from.

Cool funky hotel with Fab location in NYC. Close to bars abs restaurants and excellent reception staff. Rooms are in need of an update. Book on the high floors as it’s noisy on lower floors

Ate at the restaurant which I thought was over priced and surprising little variety of items to choose. Good service, but not worthy of more than a place for drinks.

I stayed at the Standard for a 5-day work trip in late March and can't say enough wonderful things about the hotel staff, they were SO accommodating to my needs as a breastfeeding mom. David at the front desk was so helpful, going out of his way to get a tea kettle delivered to my room so I could have hot tea every night before bed. He was also WONDERFUL in ensuring I could keep my breastmilk refrigerated and ice packs frozen so I could get milk back home to my daughter safely. This was my second time at the Standard Highline and am sure it won't be my last! Thank you to the staff and especially David for going out of your way to help me on my work trip!

Fabulous! In the heart of Chelsea with floor-to-ceiling river views, immediately above the High Line. Hip, clean, quiet, and truly awesome.
