In the warm weather Ten Bells opens up it front windows to the street. It allows the street vibe in. The lighting is somewhat dark & the music seems well curated. They have a vast selection of small plates. They all sound somewhat ordinary but they are delivered to you with a twist. And that twist is full of flavour & intrigue.

Such a good time during happy hour. The oyster are now $1.50 (used to be $1) but damn they’re good. The white wine carafe is good too & cheap. Loved the tortilla and the mushroom croquettes. Loved the outdoor patio. Highly recommend!
I discovered this happy hour spot on the LES that runs until 7 PM—$1.50 oysters and $20 carafes, which isn’t bad at all. The bar area up front is pretty small with just a few tables, but it opens up in the back with more seating and a large communal table.
