I’ve walked by many times and sadly never walked in. We sat at the bar with Maia and had a wonderful time. She selected the most amazing menu. Noodles, tempura whole snapper and steak tartare. Don’t miss this place. It’s excellent.
Food are just okay. It’s not creative and just okay taste. We were 5 people and ordered quite a lot but a server keeps coming every 2 minutes to check on us. I felt rush to eat or move to next. We ate the whole dinner + dessert in like 35 minutes. We spent $65 per person but that’s not the worth experience for it.
Many restaurants in NYC have the vibe and aesthetic but the food is subpar. Not the case with The Tyger. We went for NYE and the food was so good.
We had the:
Shiitake Mushroom & Glass Noodle Spring Rolls
Charred Octopus
Salt & Pepper Crispy Snapper Tempura
‘Pad See Ew’ Rice Noodles
Singaporean Chili Crab Fried Rice
Wok Tossed Heirloom String Beans
Morning Glory' Stir Fried Water...
