Please do not go here for a leisurely, drawn-out dining experience. Please DO eat here for an efficient, fast, omakase that both serves fresh, excellent nigiri and avoids setting your wallet on fire. At $75/head, it’s competitively priced, but you don’t get to sit there for 2+ hrs 😂

PURE UNADULTERATED BLISS HEAVENLY GODDESS POURING SUNSHINE AND HAPPINESS AND YOUTH AND BEAUTY 🌸🪸🪷🌿🪽🪼🦄💃💅🧚🧞♀️ i came here for my birthday over a year ago but i decided to come back today leave a little review bc everytime i go to to a sushi place im always reminded that im not HERE at THIRTEEN WATERS eating crispy tomato salmon and crispy rice with tuna and uni and that eel maki roll... so just warning anyone who goes here: you will never eat sushi the same way again. anyway if you ever have $100 to spend and want to use it on an exquisite juicy delectable thirteen course omakase meal then this is the place!! or if you're like me and ur mom gives u money to go to omakase for ur bday bc shes across the country and misses u and u miss her but ur going back home in a couple weeks and ur parents dont wanna fly out to nyc right before u come back home bc ur gonna celebrate ur birthday again in two weeks anyway... 😁😁😁 this is the place u go !! if u got past me and my monologue i'll tell u a little secret... this is the most worth it omakase place and you will definitely feel like your money is being well spent :>

Food very solid but couple thins to note - Feeling rushed: Usually restaurants in NYC give you 1.5 hours to eat but this place tried to squeeze everything under an hour and came up to us to ask to pay - Seating next to the restroom: I did not like being seated next to the restroom.... - Cocktail was bad: I can make a better Yuzu cocktail than that....

I never had sashimi which was this tasty and I have tried several other similar restaurants. It was really a very very special experience and every piece was delicious beyond words.
Unfortunately have to leave 1 star as they didn’t wave the cancelation fee after I told them I was sick. Having no sympathy for something who explains they are not feeling well is so disrespectful! Sad because I loved them so much before this!

I’ve been to many omakase places in the past but Shinn West and this place has made omakase into a factory-production line experience; churn out customers and any delays cuts into profits.
Also it was my partners birthday. Normally there’s some acknowledgment (I’m not even asking for a cake) esp if you fill out that info on resy. Instead we were shoo’ed out and quite literally pushed out the door. This review probably won’t make a difference given the traffic they get in Manhattan, but goddamn. What a way to ruin the omakase experience by making it so brutally efficient
