This is a small shop in East Village and there isn't much room to stand inside, so you will have to wait outside for your food. It takes a bit to prepare since the Onigirazu are made fresh to order. I came in a Sunday morning and the wait wasn't too bad, about 20 minutes. Finally trying Tokuyamatcha & Onigirazu Bar, and wow!!! Came in on a Saturday afternoon to a line out the door. Waited around 15 minutes to order & 20 minutes for the food to come out. Ordered the Frid Chicken Chili Crunch Onigiri & Miso Tuna Avocado onigiri. Spicy fried chicken was good! Lacked a little punch for me, but was super fresh, and the meat was really tender. Cute little takeout spot! I ordered the fried chicken onigirazu and it was only a five minute wait until it was ready. It was larger than I was expecting, making it a little messy to eat. The fried chicken was well seasoned and tasty. It makes a great snack!
