The waiter attended me professionally, and the place makes really good fried chicken. It’s one of those New York spots where it’s kind of cramped but definitely somewhere where you wanna go for the experience. In a good spot to have for takeout, so please feel free to come back.

Came here for a quick lunch with my sister before a show on a Sunday at around 1:30. It's a small restaurant - it was us and one large group, and that was all the seating they had. Neither of us were super hungry, so we ordered the fried chicken and zab seasoned fries to share. The fried chicken comes with cucumber, ginger rice, sweet chili sauce, and a little bowl of chicken broth. The chicken was good - it was perfectly fried. The fries were nice and crispy. The zab seasoning has hints of lime - it almost reminded me of froot loops so I'm not sure how I felt about that. I also tried the Thai iced tea with lime juice. It was refreshing, and it was a nice change from the regular Thai milk tea. I like that there aren't a lot of menu items - that's usually a good sign because it means they're focused on making a handful of dishes and making them good. I wouldn't mind coming back to try the grilled or poached chicken.

Quick and delicious meal, portions are a little small

Three Roosters is extremely underrated. It’s one of my favorite fast casual spots in all of Manhattan. I always get the grilled chicken with ginger rice. The portions are perfect, and the sauce that comes with it is packed with flavor.

It also comes with a soup that’s super delicious and comforting. If you order through Uber Eats, I believe your meal even includes a free drink, which is a nice bonus. The food is fresh, satisfying, and consistently great. Highly recommend!

Not much to say on the food. It's solid. I got the fried chicken plate with dark meat, soup and ginger rice. Everything was perfectly fine, just not as special as advertised. Not a ton of flavor going on. The seasoning on the fries was pretty tasty though, especially with the scallions.

Staff was extremely kind from the moment I walked in, and constantly refilled my water cup, which I appreciated. However, this place really shouldn't be operated as a table service restaurant. There's no need for it. I'd guess most people would prefer counter service to avoid the tip, myself included. The value for the food is lost with the added service cost.

So, mixed thoughts. Give it a try for yourself though.

Food was ok. Fried chicken was a bit salty to my taste. The sticky rice clumped together completely.

I have ordered from this place a few times. I have only ordered the chicken with rice. I did the fried and the boiled version.

It’s good. I do get a little frustrated with the amount of cartridge but that might just be a me thing. I can do the fried version all day long.

I went somewhere else recently that had less cartilage so that’s my biggest issue. Sauces are good tho !

Ordered the grilled chicken and it didn't look at all like the photo; parts of the chicken were cold so obviously it had been cooked earlier and microwaved? Really not a good taste. The sticky rice was cooked in Saran Wrap? Really? It was hard and I think it had been reheated so it also was not a good taste. The soup was like water. The salad was fresh and crisp. I would not eat here again

Lovely dinner meal.

I got the Zab fried chicken (super crunchy fried chicken with lemon pepper seasoning) + Sticky Rice + Tangy tamarind sauce + Thai corn Salad.

My friend got the Thai fried chicken + Ginger rice + Sweet chili sauce + fresh cucumber.

Both meals had some of the crispiest fried chicken I have had in nyc. I loved the option to have different types of rice, as it makes for quite the fun time to do family style. My friend called the fried chicken as “Katsu on steroids” in order to describe how flavorful and juicy the food were.
