Great find at the train station. Incredible selection and knowledgable staff. Fresh beer and resonably priced.
A strong amber ale & a grippy black lager are a nice combination upon coming in from working outside in the cold. [Fingers & toes were starting to hurt.] One of the most accessible microbrewery stores ever!
Easily my favorite beer experience since discovering it. The beer is delicious. The staff are truly passionate about the product and will help navigate you if you’re looking for inspiration. There’s a lot to explore and certainly something for everyone to enjoy here. You won’t regret stopping in to say hello.
Lovely beer selection and helpful staff!
Really disappointing. I had some hours to kill before a bus at Port Authority, so I walked here. It's super hard to find in the building. They only have tastings between 4:00 and 6:00. Nothing on tap. The server is rude and seems resentful if you ask about anything, since he acts like you're stupid and you're supposed to already know/read the small print on their signs. They had some interesting things, but only in expensive cans and bottles, and I just decided to give up on it after the rude lack of service. I didn't think it would be a great memory or experience, since the guy left a bad taste in my mouth and his bad attitude seemed so unnecessary, so I found a beer bar and got something great for the same price.
Overpriced 4 packs, and the single beers are ridiculously priced. $9 for a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, when you can literally walk 100 feet and buy it from an adjacent store in Moynihan hall for $3. There are other places in Penn Station where you can find a reasonably priced beersto grab on the way home form work. I might have given 3 stars if the employees were half friendly and not busy on their cell phones.
Coming here made me swear off all threes beer forever, even if sold by other vendors.
NY had disgusting weather yesterday i.e. ideal weather to pound some beers..but i was at Moynihan station and thought i had no beer options..... But then i saw The Threes Brewing bottle shop!! They're tucked in a discrete corner - very easy to miss....but they pretty much have their full line up of beer here plus some beers by other breweries.. friendly staff.. beer tastings on 2nd and 4th Fridays... Plus $5 off on a 4 pack! This is going to be a reason to get early to Moynihan everytime I'm taking the Amtrak!
Love having this store in Moynihan! Huge variety of beers to choose from with singles and packs available. Always new interesting flavors being rotated through. So convenient to grab before a train ride to bring to friends + family
Love this place. Great beer, staff and location. Just wish they were open later than 8pm. 8:02, out of luck.

You should totally offer canned wine! You’d double your profits! So disappointing.
Cool option to pick up NY beer while waiting in the train station. I didn't love each beer I bought, but the variety was great and the taste was solid overall. The actual space was well decorated/laid out inside with clear beer descriptions which I also appreciated.
The location is great and their wide selection of beer is nice to have easily available. There are non-alcoholic options as well as many from other breweries. However we got two different flavors of Three's Brewing proper beer and they tasted exactly the same. Like if I had a blindfold I wouldn't be able to tell them apart. Plus neither was that good or otherwise stand out from normal commercial beer. (And three times the price.)
Always friendly, knowledgeable and discounts with multipacks. Recommended
