Chill place to get dim sum. We get 6 for two people. $30/person. Highly recommend the Cha Shao bao! Reminds me of the days in HK.

The food is still pretty good but there’s a slightly different taste like there’s a new chef who altered the recipes. More notably the custard in the sesame balls is just a small cube with a bunch of empty space around, instead of filling the inside like before.

Live in the area. The quality of the food has plummeted. Dissapointing dim sum, yet somehow this still attracts large crowds of tourists who don't know better. Skip this place. Frankly, I wish Tim Ho Wan would close down (it's been 7 years) so that a new restaurant can serve the neighborhood.

I haven't gotten all my dish as I'm writing this, but the rice rolls and radish cakes were super soft. I'm used to a little chew so having them melt is more overcooked than a nice melt. I can barely pick up the radish cakes without them crumbling. The deep fried pork dumplings were strangely extra sticky to my teeth. Again, I've had them more chewy. Presentation of the food isn't giving the "Michelin" that I read online, maybe that was changed and I didn't know. Except the spicy wonton, they did look good. They tasted ok. I think I'm not a spicy wonton person because I'm not a big fan of chili oil so I can't blame that. Warning: they're super slippery cause of the chili oil and kept slipping off my chopsticks. Final statement, I've had dim sum I like better elsewhere. It's funny because I got disappointed both ways: 1) reading the 5* comments then eating it was disappointing; 2) there were comments disliking it and I wanted to give the place hope. It's not bad! It's just not worth it the price to me. My last dish though, the taro sago coconut milk dessert, it's too simple to go wrong so 5/5* for that to average 3/5*.Oh apparently, the most recommended dish is the BBQ pork buns which I didn't eat, so maybe everything else is meant to be meh so that shines.

We got har gow, 2 siu mai, pan fried noodles, steamed rolls, and the spicy dumplingsI like the siu mai and har gow! Not a huge fan of the steamed rolls, they tasted a bit refrigerated.Got the sesame mochi for desserts and I like the exterior crunchy texture but the filling inside was pretty empty…

Very tasty and popular. Had several different dim sum and dumplings courses which were very good. You will need to order at least 3 courses per a not-very hungry person, so consider when ordering ?

Dim sum tastes good but in the sort of "hey I'm a college student and I don't care about my waistline, I just want to binge on greasy food" kind of way. Wouldn't go again, but it was decent I guess.

Unfortunately felt it wasn't up to the hype. The buns weren't even that hot oddly.

First time try out this restaurant and I'm so exciting. I love the Bbq pork steamed rice roll and the Hong Kong milk tea. The prices are reasonable and also the atmosphere is best for group, family hang out.

This place used to be a reliable venue for excellent Hong Kong-style dim sum. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. While the roast pork bun was still decent, the rest of the offerings were subpar. Both the 'Deep Fried Bean Curd Roll Filled with Shrimp' and the 'Steamed Rice With Minced Beef And Pan-Fried Egg' I ordered were of lower quality, smaller in size, and not well-made. I am aware that the founder of Tim Ho Wan has sold the licensing rights outside of Hong Kong, but I would still expect him to be disappointed with how this particular restaurant is performing. With so many dim sum options popping up in the same neighborhood and considering the price of a single dim sum dish isn't cheap (starting at $7.5+), I personally would explore other options in the future.

I loved my lunch here with friends. We were seated quickly even though it was mid-day on a Saturday, and the staff were so kind and accommodating to/with my 1 year old daughter. The food was tasty, decent prices, and overall a very nice experience. I LOVED the HK milk tea!
