I’ve been looking for tsukemen that I love and I have finally found it! My only negative critique is it is a to go place.Tsukemen is hard to find in nyc and living in this area I’m happy to have a local place I can get quality tsukemen from.

TERRIBLE AND NOT WORTH. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen and added toppings of corn and chili flakes and spent $20. The ramen was mediocre and they only gave a sip of broth, only the bottom of the to go cup and didn't even cover the noodles. When I asked for extra broth, it was a $5 extra charge. Don't waste your money like I did and look elsewhere

The vegetarian ramen is really bland—broth is not rich and not umami like a proper veg ramen broth can be. The tuna omusubi definitely tasted like canned tuna. Meh.

Excellent ramen. Efficient service. Decent value. This is a great choice for a workday lunch.

This has to be one of the best ramens in the city. I knwo that this is the sister restaurant of TabeTomo which i feel the same about. The noodles are absolutely fantastic, thick and wavy and the broth is so delicious. I like it so much that i sometimes take the leftover tsukemen sauce and freeze it in small containers to dilute it and make my own at home ramens with. This is a hidden gem and I am shockd to see people giving it bad reviews. I have had nothing but exceptional experiences with TomoTomo and ive ordered it over 10 times over the last few years. Go try it and see for yourself how good it is!

Horrible food. Got a karage donburi and salmon omusubi. The bowl was flavorless and the chicken was almost undercooked. The salmon was one of the most dry things I’ve ever had, like trying to eat sand. I don’t recommend this place, at least for lunch. Seems they have lunch rush hour and maybe the quality drops to accommodate the demand but I don’t think that’s the case. Objectively subpar food - can’t comment on the ramen.

Food portion is so small.. Classic ramen is $17 with 2 small pitiful pork belly and a couple of bamboo shoots.. not even a half egg is included... definitely no value for the buck!

Solid place, not amazing, and pricy. But if you’re looking for a quick-ish place to grab ramen it’s ok. Service is typical for New York, but I go here when the weather is bad and need something close.

Ordered ahead and it was 15 minutes early! Great service and yummy food. Highly recommend their house special broth.

Pricey and not so great

I mostly come here for the Veg (Vegan) ramen. The broth is very flavorful, it has good fresh veggies, I really like the lotus. The noodles are standard ramen noodles. I add some chili powder to it and it's just perfect. I prefer it over the bone broth ramens. Good stuff.

It’s good, but you’re paying $20 for a small portion of ramen before you even add any extra toppings.

This is one of the stands inside the relatively new Urbanspace Vanderbilt food court inside the 6 1/2 Avenue arcade behind 787 Seventh Avenue (also known as the AXA Equitable Center). The menu is super compact: choose between several varieties of broth (miso, tonkotsu, vegetable), then the bowl style (ramen, tsukemen), plus extra desired toppings. My tsukemen, as advertised, separated the noodles from a thick broth, although it wasn't quite as dense as tsukemen I've had before where they serve you a concentrated mixture for noodle dipping which is diluted with water afterwards so you can drink it. Here the broth seemed halfway in between: just watery enough to dip cleanly but also just thick enough so as not to be slurpable. Still an enjoyable cold-weather dish, especially when combined with a side of takoyaki, because who doesn't love goopy fried octopus balls? ;) There was a constant stream of customers when I stopped by during the weekday lunch rush, whether in person or online, but the folks here worked through all the orders efficiently and methodically. A worthy choice among all those here at the food hall.
