one of my favorite pizza spots nearby broadway and madison! love that they’re on toogoodtogo and also supportive of fighting food waste in the city! i found out about them through ace hotel staying there and they have some of the best pizza slices, sottobosco mushroom is amazing. ingredients are always top notch, a must if you’re nearby in flatiron

First time trying Pinsa and it immediately becomes my favorite! It’s lighter compared to regular pizza, with an airy and crispy crust. The Bologna flavor is really impressive. Sprinkled with nutty crunchy pistachio crumbs, loaded with moist and tender mortadella, creamy and subtly tangy stracciatella, fresh and milky ricotta… it’s an all-embracing sensory experience!The 6-inch pizzetta is perfect for a quick bite. For meat lovers, I recommend the Rossa Carnivoro Piccante, with a rich tomato flavor and a hint of spiciness. The Cipolla is also delicious with olives, and sweet peppers complement each other perfectly.

SO happy I stumbled upon this place! Sometimes pizza makes me feel heavy and bloated, but my kids love it so I indulge with them once in a while. The pizza at Tonda was delicious and my belly was happy! No heaviness or bloating afterwards. The crust was light and airy, not what you'd typically find in pizzas in the states. The only other time I've tasted crust like this and had a happy belly later was in Italy.After reading about Tonda I now understand why. It's their flour and long fermentation process! Their dough is made from organic, unbleached, unbromated wheat from Italy and allowed to rise/ferment a lot longer. There are a lot of benefits to a longer fermentation process. Aside from richer flavor development, gluten and phytates are given more time to break down. This is better for those with sensitivities to these compounds. It also makes for a lighter airier crust, and increases the bioavailability of minerals and nutrients.I am super impressed that this little pizzeria is so committed to quality while keeping their prices so reasonable for NYC! There is no reason to go anywhere else for pizza, and no excuse for fast food. Because aside from everything else, their service was friendly and fast. Can't wait to go back.

Delicious pizza for a reasonable price. Had two (large) slices of NY style pizza for $12. Both were very tasty and quick, and you can also sprinkle spices on them yourself. You can sit inside by the window and outside.Alternatively, there are mini pizzas and 25 cm pizzas (whole or half).

I was debating whether I should get a fancy dinner after a day of shopping when I stumbled upon this establishment. It looked inviting and I was suddenly in the mood for pizza. I got a traditional NY pizza with pepperoni and it was delicious. The crust was thin but not too thin and the pepperoni were a little crunchy around the edges. I also got a personal pie with sausages, onions and peppers and it was delicious. They have other options for the personal pizza. I sat at the counter by the window and people watched as I enjoyed my food.
Unpretentious amazing Rome style pizza in a chill Italian atmosphere. Indoor and outdoor seating. Public single bathroom(clean-ish). Options to get half personal pizza or whole. Other food options but I can’t remember and didn’t try them. Flavor profiles are delicious. Cannot wait to return
