Alright, let’s talk about Tonda Pizza’s Margherita slice. It’s the kind of pizza that’ll make you feel like you’re sitting in an Italian piazza, even though you’re actually just elbow-to-elbow with strangers in New York. The Margherita is simple but so good it’s almost insulting. The crust is this magical blend of crunchy and chewy, the tomatoes taste like they actually saw sunlight, and the basil’s got that ‘I’m fresh’ energy. This isn’t just a pizza;...
The pizza was spectacular and the margarita slice is certainly a favorite of mine. If I ever revisit New York, Tonda will most definitely be on my itinerary.

A minor critique is that Tonda Pizza either accepts cash transactions at specific hours of the day or doesn't accept cash at all. It is a small nitpick which is rather insignificant, and in no way distracts from the quality of food or service.
A cheap way to consume calories in NY is to eat pizza. Accordingly, there are dozens of shops.
We tried a few and found that they all offer the same ovens, the same dough and the same ingredients. There may be small variations here and there. Nevertheless, they all taste delicious.
