We recently discovered this cozy Japanese spot in our neighborhood, and it’s definitely a hidden gem! I love that they use chicken broth for most of their ramen.
I had the Toribro deluxe mega ramen, and the broth was rich and flavorful, not too overpowering. The noodles had a nice chew, though they were a little undercooked for my liking. My boyfriend tried the vegan truffle miso ramen, which was also delicious but a bit salty. We also enjoyed the fresh and tasty seaweed...
Decent ramen place, nothing extraordinary—I thought the ramen was okay, no flavor, and the portion didn’t match the price. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone looking for a good ramen place in nyc. Not the best!
Overall the Toribro Paitan ramen was good. The chicken broth was delicious, and not too salty or overpowering.

I'm giving three stars due to how much they don't give you. You only get 2 hair thin, nothing special Char Siu slices. Of course you also don 't get an egg unless you pay extra. A classic topping in ramen, bamboo chutes, are only available with extra purchase.
