Cute, Margarita good, food below average, came cold to table, they did make new dish; but the thrill was gone on heavy tasteless enchiladas. Nothing like my South Orange Toro Loco! Cold Mexican food is unacceptable and hazardous....LOL
The food and drinks were amazing! I had the Carinosa signature cocktail, and it was so well balanced and delicious!! The guac—don’t get me started! This place will surely be added to my list of faves!
My husband and I first visited (and loved) Toro Loco on a weekend NYC trip in June of this year. For our August trip, I knew this would be on the list—even though we were staying on the upper east side. Excellent margaritas, tasty brunch food, DJ with great music, and very friendly staff. Plus, this spot is far enough away from the touristy parts that it's practically peaceful. Definitely recommend. We'll be visiting on future trips as well.
