This restaurant was amazing to say the least. I really enjoy the food. I got the carne asada tortoise and the carnitas tacos. It was all so delicious. The food came out really fast and the restaurant was very nice inside. The servers were very kind and everyone was amazing.

Always a treat to eat at a Rick Bayless restaurant, and this did not disappoint! Kids loved the chicken tacos! I loved the torta, and guacamole. Topped off with amazing churros.

We arrived around 7 PM with a reservation on Saturday night. Surprisingly the place was rather empty so we were a bit worried. The next door Joe’s Pizza (iconic) had the usual very long lines the pizza.
We were welcomed and seated quickly. The server was extremely friendly. Our drinks and food were delivered rather quickly. The dishes were quite tasty and we enjoyed our margaritas (pitcher) quite well. We had some appetizers as well as churros in the end. Can’t complain about anything really. A nice outing on a Saturday night. With some 55$ for the pitcher of booze, we spent about 150$ for three which I felt was a fine deal in Times Square.

Tortazo is an impressive dining spot with a large, beautifully decorated venue. We started with chips and guacamole and fried plantains, both delicious. The highlight was the mushroom and extra cheese quesadillas, so amazing we ordered another to go! Kenny, our server, was exceptional—friendly and attentive to our every need. Highly recommended!
